Chapter 16

Bella's p.o.v.
The feeling of wind in your fur is amazing! It being only the second time I've had my wolf out made it that much more exhilarating! Every now and again I'd feel Kyron nudge me, pushing me off route slightly, in a playful manner. Everything was perfect...until...
A howl spilt through the air, it was filled with so much sadness and pain, it made me hurt for them. The fact it was Jayden howling made my heart break that much more.
*Jayden! What's happened? Are you OK?* I mind linked my twin.
*help...* was all I got back, it was so weak and filled with emotion, it terrified me.
Following the howls and wimpers of agony, we finally found Jayden in wolf form worridly bouncing back and forth around another wolf, which seemed to be female. The foreign wolf was covered in wounds which hadn't stopped bleeding, dried blood matted in her fur. Jayden was lapping at her wounds, trying to speed up the healing, it didn't seem to he working. Another howl tore from Jaydens throat, he continued to wimper as he lay on his belly next to her whilst nudging at her side with his head, however there was no response, she just continued to lay limp. I listened carefully in hope for a heart beat, it took a few seconds but I heard one weak and slow, but there was one.
*Kyron! Call for the pack doctor! She needs help!*
*But...she's part of a different pack...* he replied seeming uncertain.
*I don't care! Jaydens in pain, because she's in pain! Get the pack doctor now!!* he nodded his head in understanding, he then zoned out, hopefully mind linking the pack doctor and not his warrior wolves.
Minutes later the pack doctor turned up, being escorted by three warrior wolves, at least the pack doctor came...she immediately began tending to the female wolf's wounds. About 20 minutes later the doctor stepped away from the female wolf, letting out a deep breath she told us "she should be fine in a about 2 weeks, but if anything happens I must be informed asap!" before walking back to - I assume - the pack house.
I shifted back into my human form, pulling one of Kyrons tops over my head, I walked over to the injured wolf, sitting down next to her and stoking her head.
"If you change back into your human form, we'll be able to carry you back to the pack house where you will be more comfortable, and safe. I promise nobody will hurt you" I explained to her.
The sound of bones popping and reshaping was loud in this closed off part of the forest. Whining, she changed back to her human form, tears streaked her face as she tried to cover herself; Jayden growled at the warrior wolves who were facing the naked girl, all but one of the warrior wolves quickly turned around, the one who didn't - David I think is his name - dropped a blanket infront of her. I quickly pulled it over the foreign wolf giving her some privacy as Jayden picked her up bridal style and ran off to the pack house.
"I'm not happy about this" I heard Kyron mutter as he entwined his fingers with mine.
"Why not?" I asked flabbergasted as to why he'd by unhappy for Jayden.
"She's an alpha female. Could you not feel the power practically dripping off of her? Even in her injured state" he told me.
"What's your point?" I asked slightly annoyed now.
"My point is, she's probably not going to be happy going from an alpha female to nothing more than maybe a warrior wolf. Think about it, you're our Luna, and there's already a Beta and Delta female. There's no high up ranks left, and even if there was she's Jaydens mate and he's non of those things, no offence to Jayden" he finished.
"Yeah, I get all that of course she's going to be a bit annoyed, but what can she do about it?" I shrugged.
"She'll probably want to fight for dominance"
"Fight who for dominance?" I asked looking up at him.
"You..." He barley whispered, looking me in the eye.
I smirked with a slight laugh "babe it's cute how worried about me you are, but you forget she may be an alpha female, but I'm a hunter. I've been trained to wipe out whole packs with just the help of Jayden, I'm sure I'll be fine" I told Kyron pecking his lips slightly.
He gave me a slight smile back, until confusion covered his features.
"Wait, you and Jayden wipe out whole packs without any help from other hunters...how's that even possible? I've never known hunters - even as adults - be able to wipe out whole packs without help!"
"Damn" I sighed "well then, I guess it's time to tell you who I am then..."

OK don't shout at me, i know its been like forever and a day since I last updated but i've had writers block, and I didn't want to upload a shitty chapter so I thought it'd be better to wait! Sorry if this wasn't worth the wait and is in fact terrible!
