Chapter 27

A/N OK so I know I said I'm handing it over to a reader, but I suddenly had this burst of motivation to write another Chapter, and I've had no messages saying they wanted to take over my book. I can carry on writing it, however it won't be updated every week or anything, it will be updated when I'm ready & have the next chapter in mind. So comment what you want to happen.

Bella's p.o.v
"What's in the fridge little brother? I'm starving!" I asked Jayden rubbing my stomach, noticing I wasn't in as good shape as I used to be... I must get back into training.
"Errm, a couple apples, ham, a sock, a half eaten pineapple.. "
"Hold up... did you say a sock?" I asked
"Yeah, look" Jayden said throwing the green and white ankle sock at me as if it wa scompletely normal to find a sock in a fridge.
"Oh! Master gave Dobby a sock!"I squealed as I caught it laughing at my own joke, which he did not give the appropriate amount of appreciation to I might add!
Jayden carried on squinting into the fridge until he suddenly started jumping for foot to foot flailing his arms around like an idiot shouting 'looky looky what I found!!'
"Jayden! Compose yourself!" I shouted at him. He stood still again before pulling a white square box out the fridge placing it on the side and closing the fridge... white boxes only mean one thing, cake!
I eagerly ripped the lid off the box to reaveal a a big round chocolate cake topped with chocolate sauce whilst shouting 'CAKE!'
"But Bellaa" Jayden whined "it's Matts Birthday cake"
"So!?" I questioned
"We can't eat it because its his" at this I burst into laughter before picking up a large slice and shovelling as much in my mouth as possible... I know, I'm an animal... literally.
"Mmmm this cake is good" I mumbled through a mouthful, crumbs flying everywhere.
"Man, I need to get back into shape... my six pack is disappearing..." Jayden wined
"About that" I said swallowing my food "we need to see the Elders"
"Why?"
"Think about it Jayden. We've been here for nearly a year and we haven't even started our mission, and on top of that you're a Werewolf and I'm a Hybrid, Hunters can't be supernatural creatures."
"Hmh! Fine ok... tomorrow?" Jayden huffed
"Stop procrastinating... we're not doing anything today.. May aswell go now"
"Do we have too?" Jayden whined at me.
"Yes Jayden." I said with a tone of finality. He huffed in response before walking off in the direction of the stairs, grumbling about Goddess knows what as he went.
Rolling my eyes I set off in search of Leana.

"Le, pass the Doritos" I asked waving my hand in front of her face to get her attention. We were currantly watching Avatar... the best film ever. When I told Leana I was leaving for a few days to go see the Elders, let's just say it didn't go down quite as smoothly as I'd hoped. There was so much shouting! How she's able to talk I do not know!
"I still can't believe you're leaving me with these idiots... again! It was bad enough the first time!" She shot me another glare.
"Hey! The first time wasn't my fault, I didn't exactly plan on being comatose for... well at all actually!" I defended.
"Yeah yeah whatever." She waved my reply off " your still leaving me... again"
"It won't be that bad I'll only be gone a week at the most this time!" I explained as the credits began to roll " I gotta go Le, I'll see you in a week" I said pulling her into a hug.
"And not a second later" she said into my shoulder.
"I promise" I whispered pulling away. "Bye Leana" I smiled.
"One week and counting!" She shouted after me... oh I do love her!

"Jayden! We need to leave! We've got a six hour bloody drive ahead of us! Get a move on!" I shouted up the stairs to Jayden... again. "If you don't come down I will come up there and drag you into the car... by your EAR!" I screamed up the stairs.
"Alright alright! I'm coming! Jeez woman calm yourself!"
"I've only been trying to you down hear for the last HOUR!" I shouted.
"BYE KAT!" I shouted up the stairs to Jaydens mate... no answer, strange.
"Why is Kat ignoring me?" I turned too face Jayden.
"She's not, she just huffy that I'm going to be away for a week, you know how she gets" he explained.
"And she's blaming me for it because it was my idea" I finished
"Pretty much"
I sighed and shook my head to rid my mind of negativity before grinning up at Jayden.
"3.. 2.. 1" I whispered
"BYE!!" Jayden and I cried as loud as our voice boxes would allow.
"Squish, you weren't gonna leave without saying goodbye, were ya?" The unmistakable voice of Matt asked from behind me.
"Coco... I just did, didn't you hear?" He chuckled in reply. He came over and hugged me... squeezing me a little too tight and lifting me off my feet, but it still felt good. I smiled into his shoulder "see ya Coco" I mumbled and I heard a 'bye Squish' in reply.
"I do believe that's my mate Matt"
"Ky" I said pulling out of Matt's embrace
"Bells" he answered kissing my forehead. "Just a week right?"
"Just a week" I repeated, ever since I came out of the coma Kyrons been very protective, never letting me leave the house without him... so this is a big step for him... for me however, FREEDOM!!
"Stay safe yeah?" He asked concern lacing every word.
"Always am"
"You're a Hunter, I didn't realise you knew the meaning of the word" he chuckled.
"Bella, we really need to go" Jayden said from behind me.
"See ya Kyron, I love you"
"I love you too, stay safe" he called after me as we headed towards the door "No longer than a week! " a small smile crept onto my lips as I griped the door handle getting ready to close it behind me "I promise" I told him as I pulled the door closed. I went over to my car and started putting all the our stuff in when I saw Leana thrust her head out of her bedroom window.
"BYE!!!" She screamed "I swear to the Goddess if you leave me for more than a week I will violently murder you" she continued
"But then I'll be gone for even longer" I called back smirking she just glared at me and slammed her window shut... she loves me really. And that was my last thought before I began driving to the place I hadn't been in nearly 3 years...Home!

Sorry it's so short and sory I'm not updating very fast, but as I explained above, i will contiue this story, however there will not be set times for updates, they will go up when I'M ready! Please! COMMENT//VOTE//FOLLOW! Thank you!

(P. S. They don't go home in between missions, hence why it's been 3 years instead of just 1)
