Chapter 8

Bella's p.o.v.
Thank God! It's Saturday! Meaning no Kyron! Woop woop!
I felt the couch dip next to me as Jayden sat down, pulling me into him.
"Hey you, how you feeling" he asked looking me dead in the eye.
"I'm ok now...apart from my mouth..." I mutterd. I've been having these really sharp pains in my gums above my canines, and It's really painful, it actually made my eyes water last night.
"Whats up with your mouth?"
"I'm not really sure, It's my gums just above my canines, I don't know, it kinda feels like when you've got a new tooth growing through" I said shrugging.
"Let me have a look, you might have cut it somehow or something" Jayden turned sideways on the couch so he was facing me, whilst I moved my lips away from my teeth & gums.
"Holy shit Bella! Do you sharpen you fangs or something! You look like you could peirce skin with those!" Jayden almost shouted with a look of pure horror on his face.
"What!? No! Of course not!!" I shouted back, just as shocked. I ran to the only mirror in the apartment, in the bathroom, and looked at my teeth. He was right, my canines were ridiculously sharp! I pushed my thumb to the tip of my right canine, and just as Jayden said it would, it drew blood.
"Jayden..." I spoke quietly whilst walking out of the bathroom"whats going on"

"Here it is" Jayden said running his finger under a certain line of writing.
We were both currently leaning over Jayden's diary, on the island in the middle of the kitchen.
Dear Diary,
Today, mum told us another story about dad, she told us about the day he discoverd he was part Vampire, half to be exact, beacuse his mum was a Vampire and his Dad was human. Mum says this could mean, Bella and I could have some Vampire in us but we probably won't turn into Vampires because we'd barley be half Vampire, meaning our human side would dominate leaving our Vampire side doormant.
"Bella, I think you're a-" Jayden started
"Vampire" I whisperd finishing off his sentence.
There was a long silence before I suddenly realised something.
"Jayden, if I'm a Vampire, you do realise what that means right?"
"Um, nope" he said looking at me blankly
"Jayden, it means I actually could be Kyrons mate" the last two words came out as a whisper. "I know it's going to sound crazy, but I think we should go see him"
"What? Why?" Jayden asked, completely confused.
"Because - I can't believe I'm going to say this - I'm pretty sure I'm his mate, and because he's a werewolf, he will be able to smell if I'm a Vampire or not."
"Actually thats a good idea, go get dressed and then we will leave, yeah?" Jayden asked
"Yeah" I replied.
