Chapter 18

Bella's p.o.v.
On my way out I knocked into someones shoulder, I didnt bother turning to apologise I just carried on running, I heard somone calling to me but I ignored them, I didnt care what people thought of me right now, my mate was about to cheat on me! I thought mates were supposed to be trustworthy and faithful and were meant to support you in every thing you did! Well clearly I was wrong!
I could hear my wolf - Rose - whining in my head muttering things about 'him having a reason' or 'let him explain' eurgh! Stupid wolves having mate bonds, always searching for a reasonable excuse for the bad things their mates had done!
By now I was entering the neighbouring town, it's suprising how far you can get when your using vampire spead.
I slowed to a regular walking pace so I didnt freak out the humans, looking around I realised I didnt have a clue where I was...looks like I'll be staying in a hotel for a while...
It had started to rain by the time I finally found a hotel...I say rain, I actually meant torrential downpour. I was soaked! The water was dripping off of me by the time I'd gotten to my room. I was cold and I ached all over. It was now that my thoughts flickered over to Kyron, how I'd love to be pulled into one of his warm embraces right now...NO! He was with another female! How could I be thinking of him right now! Unfaithful lying bastard!
I hauled myself into the bathroom, turining the water on allowing it time to warm up whilst I stripped off my clothes letting them drop to the floor.
Stepping into the warmth of the shower felt like heaven. Allowing it to run down my back relaxing my once stiff muscles, looking around I noticed an almost empty bottle of mango scented hair and body wash, lavering myself in the yellowy orange liquid, thoughts of Jayden filled my mind; how could I just leave him there with out telling him I was leaving...poor boy must be hysterical, especially considering this is the second time I've run from Kyron. How could I be so stupid!? I have to go back for my brother...but I refuse to see Kyron, but he lives there of course I'm going to see him...I wont go! But what about Jayden. Whilst I was fighting this internal battle with myself I failed to notice the banging on the hotel door, the crash of it being knocked down was what brought me out of my thoughts. I jumped out the shower pulling on my under garments (which were pretting much dry by now) and my oversized hoodie (which was still soaked) I ran out the bathroom a knife in each hand and came face to face with....Matt?
Dropping my knives I leaped into Matts arms and sobbed on his shoulder. I was being so weak...but I guess thats what having a mate does to you.
After about 20 minutes of standing in Matts arms, whilst he whispered calming words in my ear, I finally pulled away.
"Sorry" I mumbled, falling back on the bed.
"Its fine" he lightly chuckled sitting on the bed next to me.
"So, how'd you find me?"
"Well, I was stood by the stairs talking to Jayden about Katerina and congratualting him on finding his mate and stuff, when he was nearly knocked over by a blur with black hair running out the door. Of course we both new it was you, as you are the only other Vampire Hybrid in the pack therefore the only person who could be running at such a speed." He explained.
"So you followed me" I said it as more of a statement than a question, he nodded confirming it "so wheres Jayden then?" I paused thinking about it "he couldnt keep up could he?"
"No, but he told me I had to tell him when I found you" he told me closing his eyes getting ready to mind link Jayden.
"Wait!" I almost shouted grabbing his arm, his eyes fluttered open as tilted his head to look at me.
"What? Dont you want your brother to know that you are alive and safe, dont you want him to know where you are so he can come get us?" He asked looking completely mind boggled.
"I was going to say, wait, let me tell him, before you jumped in"
"Oh, sorry" he mutterd letting out a nevous laugh.
I inwardly rolled my eyes before closing my eyes and mind linking Jayden.
Jayden I started
BELLA he shouted back where are you? What happend? Is Matt there? He started bombarding me with questions.
JAYDEN! I'm safe, and yes Matt is here, I'm in room 050 in 'The Hotel'. DONT TELL KYRON! I will explain what happend when you get here, and please bring me some clothes..oh bring Matt some too.
Room 050 of The Hotel...there originality sucks by the way. Bring clothes, dont tell Kyron...got it, be there soon sis, hold tight. And he was gone, I let out a deep breath as I opend my eyes, falling backwards, so I was laying on the bed.
"Are you...ok?" Matt asked
"Im as ok as I can be right now....I just wanna sleep" I told him, he nodded his head in understanding as he got up off the bed and started walking away.
"Um, where are you going" I asked
"To sleep on the couch" he told me, with a 'duh' look on his face"
"Get over here you idiot, you can sleep in the bed with me" I told him rolling over, I felt the bed dip beside me as Matt got in behind me.
"You know bella, you're like my little sister" he told me
"Is that good or bad?" I asked
"Good" he chuckled
"Thank fuck for that" I laughed "well you"re like the only friend I've ever had" I shrugged
"Really!? I feel honourd" he cheesed
"Well, being a hunter you dont stay in one place long enough to make friendships and stuff" I explained. I peered over my shoulder to see a smile creep over his lips as he rested his chin on my head.
"Night Princess" he told me
"Night Bestfriend" I mutterd back as darkness engulfed me.
