To be honest, Chan felt quite hesitant about knocking on the door as he stood on the doorstep of the house opposite his.

Perhaps it was dumb, he'd come over purely because he was scared, despite knowing it was probably his head messing with him, though he began to believe it was something else after far too many coincidences.

Again, these 'hallucinations' always seem way too real, way too prominent to just be in his head, but then again, Chan's never hallucinated before this, so maybe that's what they are supposed to be like.

His thoughts were swiftly cut off when the door flew open, causing Chan to flinch a bit before looking at Dowoon wide-eyed.

"Wha-"

"I saw you coming over and I waited for you to knock on the door, but then you just...didn't?"

"Were you by the window again?" The man nodded before opening the door wider to let Chan in.

The house was noticeably quiet, it usually seemed quite chaotic despite Chan only ever being there once.

"Where's everyone else?"

"Brian's here, but the rest are at work" oh yeah, adulting.

"Hey, kid" speak of the devil. Chan felt the man tap him on the shoulder as he entered the living room Chan and Dowoon were sitting in and he also flopped down on the sofa next to his friend.

"You okay? You look like you've seen a ghost?" Brian leaned forward. Dowoon let out a snort before Brian promptly, and incredibly unsubtly, stomped on his foot causing the other to abruptly shut up.

Chan didn't ask.

"Uh, I'm...I'm fine. Just, wanted to say hey I guess?" Chan realized that he had absolutely so reason to come over and looked quite strange, to say the least.

"Shouldn't you be at school? It's only..." Dowoon trailed off, looking to his watch before looking up again, "12:40?"

"Uh yeah, something...happened last night, mum got me the day off"

"Right, nothing bad I hope?"

"Umm...I don't...I don't know?"

"You don't know?" Chan didn't answer, trying to figure it out.

"You can talk to us you know," Chan looked up again, to see the two looking at him. "It might sound weird considering we met not that long ago, but if you ever need anything, we're here" it was genuine, and Chan actually felt safe in the presence of them.

He paused to think, before ultimately deciding that he could trust these guys.

"I had an anxiety attack"

"Oh...do they happen often?" Chan shrugged.

"I've only recently started getting them...it's quite...confusing" Chan assumed they'd noticed the discomfort in his face due to him explaining what had been going on - he wasn't one to open up to people - and thankfully chose to change the subject.

"Have you had lunch? We were gonna make some pasta if you want some"

Chan ended up agreeing, and they all sat at their unreasonably large diner table as they tucked in.
