I watched as the Doctor walked out into the warehouse.

This couldn't be good. Whenever he told me to stay inside and to watch Sammy, it was never good.

I held Sammy close, stroking her hair as I watched him. She could tell I wasn't happy.

"Is Dad going to be alright?" She asked quietly as I looked down at her.

"Dad is always going to be alright. He's the Doctor." I mumbled as I looked back out, seeing a shadow move about while his back was turned. I looked back down at Sammy.

"Now listen to me, alright? I need you to stay inside the TARDIS. I need to take care if something." I instructed as she nodded. I kissed her forehead and walked out, closing the doors to the TARDIS as I walked out quietly behind him.

I followed him, tapping his shoulder as he jumped and turned around.

"Kalena? What are you doing out of the TARDIS? I gave you specific orders." He whispered as her gripped my arms as I looked at him.

"I know, I know, but you have to listen to me. I saw someone, they're watching you and that's why I left." I whispered back, hearing footsteps coming from behind my back as I pushed him behind a box.

I turned around, seeing the shadow of someone in a long robe and head dress.

"Who are you?" He asked as I tensed up a little, seeing the reflection of some weapon.

"Kalena Delagana, professional Journalist." I said as I pulled out the small wallet that contained my I.D. and badge. I put it back away in the inside pocket of my jacket. In the seven year period, thanks to the Doctor, I was able to pursue a professional career.

I heard the clucking f the weapon, the sound of a revolver spinning.

"Who's ring?" He questioned as I could tell he was eyeing the engagement ring on my left hand. I swallowed, trying to think of a better way to stall him.

"Mine." I replied back, starting to sweat slightly as I closed my eyes and sighed.

"From who?" I looked over at the Doctor from the corner of my eye, seeing him motioning like he was zipping his lips - telling me not to mention anything. But I shook my head, my words failing me.

"The Doctor." I sighed as the sound if a gun blasted through the air, pain ripping through my left rib as I fell to the ground.

Tears fell down my cheeks, feeling like it was ripping it away my skin as it burned.

Everything hurt.

Everything seemed to fail on me.

The last thing that caught my attention before all else was a bright explosion coming from the direction of the TARDIS. That's when I saw the Doctor, tears running down his face as he had a pained expression.

This was it.

It had to be the end of me.
