Senku Ishigami was in the science lab working on another one of his weird projects when he received a text from the vice-president of his chemistry club.
You know when someone special sends you a picture or video and your heart kind of skips a beat, and you get nervous for no reason? Well that happened for a split second, then he ignored it. He opened it and clicked on the video Anzu had sent him of a huge Buddha statue she saw on her trip. Then she suddenly zoomed into a small plant and giggled at the end. Causing the boy to chuckle a bit too, more at her stupidity than anything.

"But it's a special plant :D! Oh speaking of which, did you remember to give my bonsai tree the 10-9-10 fertilizer? Not the 0-10-10."

At that moment, Taiju burst into the laboratory. Announcing his plans to confess to Yuzuriha to the entire chemistry club. After their brief discussion, he replied to Anzu's text and headed towards the windows where a few other boys were watching Taiju's confession.
Then that's when the end of the world began, a bright green light drowned all of humanity. Turning them into a stone museum for nature to see. At that very moment, the scientist remembered the previous text Anzu had sent. 'I hope you have a slow death.' To which he thought, 'Damn she really jinxed me.'
