"You know Gen, you're right, she really is colder than fucking Antartica." Ryusui said, still clenching his jaw. We were waiting for Hyoga to reach the top floor at the entrance to the bottom floor. Anzu was a couple of meters away from the building along with her blue lackey.

"Ah calm down Ryusui—" -Gen

"How can I calm down?! She's never spoken to me that way before! In fact I always thought we got along quite well but apparently she just secretly hated me!" -Ryusui

"It's just this place Ryusui, it's probably gotten to her head." -Ukyo

"Ha! Damn right, cause that is not what a damsel in distress looks like." -Ryusui

"I agree, we know she's been through a lot but is it okay for her to act that way towards her friends?" -Kohaku

"Kohaku's right. Once again, there's something else hidden here. What does all of this mean? What is this building hiding? Heh, curiouser and curiouser."

A few minutes later Anzu gave the signal for us to begin. Some people rushed in and some people walked in calmly. I stayed outside and measured the circumference of this building. I found another exit at the back and a rope, a single rope tied to the top of the building?

"Senku what are you doing? We have to go inside! Or someone else will find the gem!" -Taiju

"Right..." Him and Yuzuriha had been waiting for me, so I joined them and we walked inside the first floor. It was completely covered in green things. Green walls, plants, green chairs, green cupboards, green desks. The layout mimicked a school classroom, and it was pretty crowded in here.

"Where should we look first?" -Yuzuriha

"What are we even looking for again?" -Taiju

"A peridot gem, it could be hidden anywhere so there's no special place to look in, yet."

"The lever room probably has something to do with it right? It might just be hidden in there." -Yuzuriha

"But that wouldn't be fair to the rest of us, there's only one key and it's Hyoga's." -Taiju

"You didn't hear what she just said to Ryusui? There's no sense of fairness in this game—"

The ground suddenly started shaking.

"A-Already?!!" -Yuzuriha

"Did Hyoga already find the room then?! He's fast!! How is anyone ever going to take the key from him?!" -Taiju

The shaking was light but it was still pretty strong. This is stupid, you're not supposed to move during an earthquake and running outside like an idiot is the worst thing to do.

But everyone, absolutely everyone was running down the stairs, down the corridors, and pushing through the double doors.

We hadn't even moved on our own account, we were swept away with all of this commotion. I was stepped on multiple times, all of these locals were in panic mode. Then amidst the chaos I saw through a window, Anzu was smiling at the scene. It finally hit me what this game was supposed to be.

We finally reached outside where everyone else was gathered too, some people were already gravely injured. Soon the building stopped shaking and people started pouring inside again.
