"Anzu...Anzu...Gosh she's not waking up again." -Kohaku

"She's a heavy sleeper?" -Suika

"Well when you're whispering like that, she's obviously not going to wake up. Try yelling, ANZU!!...Wow still nothing. Maybe she's dead." -Chrome

"Alright alright step aside, don't be afraid guys she doesn't bite...ANZU THERE'S A MOOSE EATING YOUR HERBS!"

"H-HUUH HUH?! W-WHAT?! W-WHERE?! MAKE IT GO AWAY- oh. Oh you guys are mean, why would you wake me up like that."

"You know there aren't any moose in Japan."

"What's a moose?" Chrome asked Kohaku.

"The hell are you asking me for. I live in the same village as you." -Kohaku

"Moose are biiiig animals that live in cold places. Back where I lived, there were many. And those things are terrifying. Anyways, what the hell do you all want?"

"We're making the sulfa drug right now, so we wanted you to come with us!" -Gen

"Oh, ugh fine- wait GEEEENNNNNN!!!!!!!"

"AAANNZUUUUU!!" -Gen

I threw myself at Gen and hugged him as tightly as I could. "You're back!! Awe I'm so happy!!! I'm so glad you're alive and well!!"

"And you forgot all about me, my beloved! Huhuhu!" Gen fake cried.

"I'm sorry!! That was Senku's fault he drugged an innocent girl such as moi!"

"Hmph, he's the big bad wolf—" -Gen

"Okay that's enough you two, let's get back to making our drug."

We went outside to the laboratory, but I held onto Senku's wrist to stop him. "Wait Senku, I wanted to thank you for comforting me last night."

"...Huh? What are you talking about? I was up making the drug the entire night."

"Oh. You were? To be honest it's pretty blurry so I might've just hallucinated it from the mushroom effect... Well, then I'll be sure to thank your ghost instead!" I smiled and we made our way to the laboratory where he explained the process of the drug.

I was almost positive it wasn't a dream. But my memory is such trash that Senku's probably right. Besides he would never do something like that. Right? He wouldn't actually let me rest my head on his shoulder, much less would he sing with me.

So it's one of two, either I dreamt it, which would be a cruel dream...Or it did happen, and he's just hiding it. But I kind of hope it wasn't a dream, he felt warm, like the sun.

We'll I guess the point is I'm all better so everything is good.

"Sulfanilamide...a.k.a the cure-all sulfa drug! Acquired!"

"Woohoo! We level up!"

"Finally...Ruri..." Kohaku said with teary eyes.

"Ehh? Don't start crying— ow!" I elbowed Senku and went to hug Kohaku.

We walked inside the village, but Gen stopped at the entrance. "Sorry my beloved, I won't be able to go beyond this point."

I pursed my lips and frowned, Senku placed one hand on my shoulder and said to Gen, "Well have fun back at the lab!"

"YOU aren't my beloved, I wasn't talking to you hmph!" -Gen

Gen disappeared into the woods and went back to the science hut. "Ahh I think I know what's going on here. Well lucky him! I used to have a serious addiction to Coke too. If I had one now I'd probably force you to make a million more for me haha."
