A/N: ahem from this chapter forward, the story is going to follow the manga since season three isn't out yet (consider this was written in may 2021). So if you don't want any spoilers that's fine, you can just come back when the third season is out. But just spoiler alert you know, I don't want anyone going whaaat I didn't know that?! And then blame me for spoiling the story for them. No :)

The following day, things were back to normal. As if nothing had ever happened, we now had a new plan: to reach the other side of the world.

I don't know if I'm a big fan of this ship crusading trip but I guess it'll do. We don't even know how to sail a ship but I mean sure why not build a boat. Why not build an entire airplane huh while we're at it.

"A boat?! Woo!! Finally something us people from Ishigami Village understand!" -Kaseki

"That's right! Ishigami Village are people that live on the water! This time I might even be more helpful than you Senku!" -Magma

"He looks oddly motivated."

"Well he is right, I'm not a ship architect, I'm a scientist."

"Oh! How about we put everyone's ideas together and then we'll pick the best one out of all of them hm?" -Gen

"Bahaha! Sounds great to me! My ship and I are so winning this. C'mon brat you're helping me draw it!" -Magma

"Huh?! Oh what the hell I have nothing better to do either way."

I went off with Magma who met up with Mantle. They called the village elders and asked them how to build a boat.

If I was to build my own boat it would probably be like an origami paper boat, I have no knowledge of boats. I didn't even finish watching the Pirates of the Caribbean, I fell asleep.

"Now that Tsukasa is defeated, all of his former buddies must be wondering, who do we follow now? Who's the boss now? And that's what I gotta make clear as day!" -Magma

"By making me draw a boat?"

"Yeah! If I take charge of this boat thing I'll eventually become leader!" -Magma

"Full-proof plan Magma."

"That's our Magma! Always thinking ahead!" -Mantle

"But I mean, couldn't you just kill Senku if you wanted to? Not that I'll let you of course, but you're fully capable Big M."

He froze and his eyes opened wide, "He builds all of this cool stuff, so just for that reason alone, I'm fine letting him run free. I just want the chief's throne to myself."

I smiled and rolled my eyes, men are so difficult.

"Psst! Psssssttttttt!!!!" Someone was hiding behind the bushes but I couldn't see who it was. I didn't have my glasses yet so the person threw a paper ball at me. I opened it without letting Magma and Mantle see, it read in sloppy handwriting "Help me with my boat too!!"

I sighed and rolled my eyes, I drew a check mark on it and threw it back at the same direction. I quickly finished sketching Magma's idea of a boat and then excused myself.
