It got closer, letting out a low growl. I wasn't really afraid of it. I just didn't want to make sudden movements, because it looked like it was ready to attack. It was really close to me now. The animal was as nearly as tall as me. I could feel it's breath on my cheek. I closed my eyes and waited. I felt something wet touch my nose. Surprised I let out a small whimper. I opened my eyes and discovered that the wolf licked me. I blinked. Surprised I offered the wolf my hand and the it sniffed it and rubbed his head into it. I smiled and started petting the wolf. It started licking my face and I giggled. It tickled. "What are you doing?" I heard and gasped. There was a tall figure standing eight feet away from me. The wolf turned its head, barked happily and left my side to go to the dark figure's side. I didn't say anything. I attempted to slowly back away when the low voice said "Don't move." And that was my que point. I turned around and started sprinting away from them. "Oi! You!" I heard the voice call behind me. "Marco go!" the person yelled. I heard fast and heavy moving. The wolf! I thought The wolf is running right behind me. I started running faster. The wolf was still catching up on me. I couldn't give up. The man was dangerous. People were dangerous. They wanted to hurt me. "Omph!" I crushed into something solid and fell to the ground. I looked up and quickly got up ready for an attack. It was the tall figured person. A man. The wolf already caught up and was now by its master's side. I snarled and showed my teeth. "Wait!" he said and put his arms up showing he meant no harm. I took it as a signal of an attack so I jumped at him. The wolf barked and wanted to stop me, but I was too fast. I launched at the tall person and then... I got stopped. The man grabbed my arms and hold me against him. I started twisting and biting and kicking, but he wouldn't let go. I started screaming ans squirming. "Stop it!" he growled near my ear and I froze. The man sighed in relief. "Okay I'm going to let you go now. Will you promise me to listen for just a bit?" I slowly nodded better to lie and live I thought to myself. "Alright" he said and let go of my arms. I quickly jumped away from him and just watched him carefully. "I'm not going to hurt you, I promise" he said. I didn't believe him. "Okay now the only thing I want to know is why you are here." he said. Why would he want to know that? I asked myself. I didn't want to answer. I felt my feet coming alive. I readied myself and right before I sprinted I heard him say "Wait! Don't run!" Too late I thought when I started escaping. He cursed and then yelled "Marco!" the wolf started running after me again.
