The night was so pretty. I could see everything, even though it was dark. It was because the moon decided to be nice today and showed me the way.
Mommy sent me to get the red herb I found yesterday. I was really proud of myself because I found it much faster than I thought. I smiled and hopped back to home.
It was kind of quiet when I reached my house, but I guessed that mommy, daddy and Gapi all went to sleep. Or they were just really tired. I went to the entrance, but there were no doors. I stopped.  I didn't like the feeling I was getting. "Mommy?" I called. No one answered "Mommy why are there no door?" I asked. Still no one. I went in and then froze.
Gapi, mommy and daddy  were lying in front of me. They weren't moving. They were soaked in red and just lying there like broken dolls. I screamed. What was happening? Why did someone do this? I said their names and shook them. Calling them to wake up, but they weren't waking up.
What was happenning? I heard noises. I became scared and I became quiet. I heard a crack on the wood. I froze. There were voices coming closer "There is someone still in there!" Someone yelled. I froze. The footsteps were coming closer. I hid under the chair next to mommy. The voices from the outside were now in the house

Two persons came in the room.
"Maybe it's the daughter," said a smaller figure said
"The what?" Said the other one. "The daughter," said the first person again "you know the second child..."
»God John you're stupid!« the tall person said. "Why?" the other asked. "Because you didn't tell us that in the first place!"
"Well sorry it slipped my mind! And besides she is eight or something harmless." The smaller one defended himself.
"The orders were to get rid of the Orscech family. There was no mention of leave the inoccent alive if you feel like it." The taller stressed really loudly. "I'm sorry Ernest," said the other man.
»Well at least we can still find her so it's not that big of a screw up,«  said the man whose name was Ernest.

"What if she already saw them and ran away?"

"No she's still here we just have to find her."

»allright« said John.

Right at that moment I moved. I didn't notice the other chair on my left and I hit it. It made a loud sound and both of them turned their heads to me. I stood up and started running to the back door. They quickly followed me but they couldn't see the table or the couch around them and it slowed them down a bit when they were bumping against them.

After I reached the exit I ran into the woods which were very close. It took almost no time for the two men to come search for me. I knew they were a lot faster than me, but i knew the way around the woods. I looked back and didn't see the men anymore. Then suddenly I bumped into a tall figure. "Thought you could run away didn't you girl" the man said and grabbed my shoulders. I screamed he shut my mouth and yelled "John, come here" the other guy came closer. The taller one kneeled down to face me and put a knife near my face. "You know you're quite a cutie" and brushed the blade down my chin then stoped when he came to my neck. "too bad your parents were traitors" what is he talking about? My parents weren't traitors, they were great. They loved me and my older brother Gapi very much! But they killed them! I spat at the guy and he jerked his head back, then I stomped on the taller guys leg and ran as fast as I could. "Why you little" I heard behind me but this made me sprint even faster.

I reached the end of the forest very soon and further on there was a cliff. I stopped and looked down. It was dark, I knew there was water, but I also knew it was deadly. I turned around and the men were just coming out of the woods. "I have enugh of you little girl. Come here I won't hurt you" He smiled cruely "I'll kill you," I took a step back and almost fell of the cliff. "I'll be glad when I kill you" he slowly started coming to me. I looked at the other man, hoping he would help me. But he didn't even flinch he just watched with his hands crossed over his shoulders leaning on a tree. I moved closer to the cliff. I could feel the edge. I looked back. I couldn't see the bottom of it. "Are you caught little girl?" The man said. I just watched as he closed up on me. "What will we do with you, I wonder?" he wondered. He grabbed my shoulders and looked at me. His face changed into a monstrous grin. "I have an idea," he said. He squeezed and my eyes widened. "Bye," he said and pushed. I screamed as I fell of the edge of the cliff. My feet weren't touching the ground. It was windy and cold as I was falling. Before I fell into the water I had only one question: "Why?"
