1: Kageyama's Crush

Hinata's POV

"Kageyama! Pass me another set!" I shouted while running at the net.

Kageyama proceeds to pass a set to me as I hit it over the net.

Ever since I started being friends with Kageyama, I've started falling for him. Even though we always fight and insult each other, we surprisingly still are close. But, I dont know if he likes guys.

"You 2 go home! It's already late!" Daichi yelled at both of us.

"O-ok..." We both say in unison.

It was already dark outside. Kageyama and I walked over to the club room and got all our stuff. It was just me and him, but it wasn't that awkward.

"Yo dumbass." Kageyama said.

"Do you always have to insult me!?" I shouted "What do you even want BAKAYAMA?"

He looked at me all annoyed, but proceeded to ask me something.

"You can keep a secret right?" He looked at me straight in the eyes.

"U-uh, y-yeah?" I looked around trying not to make eye contact.

"So, I like this person..." He blushes a bit.

I feel my heart crack a bit.

"Wow did you just blush?!" I faked a laugh.

"OH SHUT UP!" Kageyama punched me in the shoulder.

We went out the club room and proceeded to talk about his crush...

"So what should I do about it?!" He held his head in frustration. "I wanna talk to her, but my stomach starts to feel weird and my face heats up!"

I've never seen Kageyama like this... He must really like her. So as his best friend, I must help him...

"Um hinata?" He waved his hand infront of me.

"Oh heh, sorry!" I blushed and looked the opposite way. "Well, you should ask small questions, try to get to know her. I don't know!"

"I'll try."

As the cold wind went by, I admire how cute Kageyama looked right now. How his dark hair blew through the wind...

"Well I gotta go home, and YOU BETTER NOT TELL ANYONE!" Kageyama threatened me.

"I won't bakayama!" I faked a smile.

Maybe he liked me! Maybe, he is hiding his feelings for me by pretending it's someone else! Who am i kidding... I know he doesn't like me in that way.

We both part and i look down trying to hold in my tears.

It was class break, so I just looked around the class. I see Kageyama talking to a girl in our class. I think her name is Erika.

I soon realized that this might be the girl he likes.

I see Kageyama turning red a bit and looking around.

"Aww, you're so cute when you blush." Erika laughs.

I watch as my heart feels like it's breaking in 2.

I mean, Erika is so pretty as well! Her brown hair shines in the sunlight. Her emerald eyes are so green and pretty. They are made for each other...

I don't even stand a chance...

I lay my head on my desk hoping this suffering would pass. I just want to play volleyball...

I lean on the back of the gym floor, tired of practice. I look at at door and see Erika talking to Kageyama.

My eyes go dull as I see the couple flirting with each other.

"Hey Hinata, have you see that hot girl with Kageyama!" Nishinoya says in surprise "I've never seen Kageyama so flustered with someone, must be his crush!"

"Yeah, his c-crush! Must b-be his crush haha!" I laughed along.

"I thought you were his queen?" Tsukishima says sarcastically.

"WHAT?! I DONT LIKE HIM?!" I LIED

"I didn't say anything about you liking him." Tsukishima rolled his eyes.

I look back at Erika and Kageyama. It looked like they said their goodbyes and Kageyama walks over to us.

"Who's your girlfriend that you were talking to?" Tanaka smirked

"Uhh S-she's not my girlfriend!" Kageyama rolled his eyes.

I stare trying to fake a smile and laugh a few times.

I just wish he could like me back...
