10: Only you...

3rd POV

"Hinata do you have a crush on someone?" Kageyama asks Hinata.

It was night and they were just done playing volleyball and were walking home. It has been 2 days since their arguement, and they sorta apologized to each other.

"Uhhh, I-I umm." Hinata was flustered, because his crush is asking who is crush is. "S-sorta? I-I don't know.."

"Bruh, just answer the question." Kageyama glares at Hinata.

"Why does it concern you, huh?" Hinata crosses his arms. "I'm just very confused with my emotions, so I don't know if I like this person..."

"Heh, I've been there." Kageyama nervously laughs. "Look, to be honest I am not good at being nice, I guess..."

"You got that right!" Hinata smirks.

"SHUT UP DUMBASS, I'm trying to be nice to you and let me finish my sentence!" Kageyama punched Hinata in the shoulder.

"As a friend, since you gave me good advice about my relationship with Erika, I want you to know that I would help you as well..." Kageyama almost whispered that sentence.

"Pffft, you trying to be nice is not normal!" Hinata laughs.

"I'M TRYING TO BE NICE OKAY!" Kageyama roughly ruffles with Hinata's hair.

Hinata then realized what Kageyama just said. "Wait, you're saying that you asked me about my crush, just so you can help me get with them?"

Kageyama rolls his eyes and nods.

Hinata looked dead in the eyes at Kageyama. Kageyama knew that whatever Hinata was about to say is going to be serious.

"Are you doing this as an actual friend, or are you forcing yourself to do this?" Hinata's voice was emotionless. Kageyama couldn't tell if he was mad or sad.

When Kageyama was about to say anything, he questioned himself. Am I doing this just to return the favour or am I doing it for Hinata, because I care for him...?

"I'm doing this, because I care about you." Kageyama didn't want to admit, but he always seen Hinata as a very good friend. He did care for him. "Look Hinata, you've been looking miserable, and I don't want to see you like that. I just thought that once you had a girlfriend, you would finally be yourself again. Cheerful and energetic as usual..."

Hinata looked at Kageyama with shock. Hinata knew that Kageyama was a bit rude, and almost emotionless, to the point where you don't even know what he's feeling. It felt weird to see how much Kageyama changed, because of one girl...

"Kageyama, I appreciate how much you care for me, but you don't even need to worry about me!" Hinata faked a smile. "I don't think helping me get a girlfriend would solve the problem..." Hinata whispered the last part, but Kageyama still heard.

"Oh." Was all Kageyama could say. "Then what can?" Kageyama looked at Hinata.

"Nothing..." Hinata sighed. "Anyways, why are you so invested in my well being, i'm doing fine!"

"I guess, well bye." Kageyama waved goodbye and they both went their separate ways.
