21. A friendly hangout.

Hinata's POV

I stand in the middle of the mall. It was snowing outside, and all I wore was a grey scarf, a orange toque, and an white oversized hoodie. I shoudl've wore a bigger jacket.

"Hey Hinata." Kageyama walked over to me wearing a big puffy jacket, a grey toque and scarf.

"Where do want to go?" I ask.

"Food court sounds good." Kageyama suggests, which I agree to. We walk over to the food court and get ramen. It was great, but after that I didn't know what to do. All we did was do some small talk.

"Wanna visit the small skating rank they put up near the park?" Kageyama asked.

"Why not!" I smiled.

We go to the skate rank, and order some shoes to skate on the rank.

"I don't think I can do this-" I slipped and fell on my butt.

"Hah, at least I can stay on my 2 feet." I watch Kageyama skating. Not doing cool tricks, but he kinda had the handle of it. I could still see him unstable on his feet. I try to walk my way to the handle of the skating rank, holding on for dear life.

"Kageyama, I can't do this!" I whine.

"Don't act like a baby, you aren't 3." He glared at me. "Ughh, just hold my hand dumbass."

I hesitated for a sec. I could slightly feel my face start to heat up. I grabbed onto his hand, and he sorta helped me get the handle of it.

"Hinata, you need to calm down. Your legs are tensed up and your hand is slightly hurting my hand." He ordered.

"S-sorry!" I loosen my grip and try to calm down. When he started moving slighty and I try to copy him, I fell. I felt something beneath me when I feel, and when I open my eyes, I see Kageyama.

We look at each other, but then noticing the position we were at and how I thought about the people around us, we both go flustered and stood right back up.

"I-I'M SO S-SORRY!" I waved my arms around. Kageyama just stood still forzen, i think i broke him? I try to skate my way back to land. I didn't notice how fast I did that, but ignored that and sat on the benches.

'Did I really fall on Kageyama! That was embarrassing...' i mentally said while I cover my face in shame.

"Hey Hinata, you should work on balancing..." he walked over to me and rested. "Do you wanna keep skating? Or do you wanna leave now?"

I got my phone out to see it's 4:30pm. "We can stay for a few minutes, if you don't mind." I smile.

We both skated for 30 minutes, and I slightly started feeling confident about skating. I tried to jump and glide, but ended up falling down and  embarrassing myself.

"Hinata you've only started skating an 1 hour ago, don't think you are that good at it!" He looked down at me. "Only a pro skater can do that."

"I know, i just wanted to do it cus they always do it in movies!" I huffed and got up.

"Look, it's 5 and it'll close soon. We should go." He skated back to our stuff and I followed him.

"Ow, my legs ache!" I whine.

"Well, skating is aching and you fell multiple times."

"I know! You don't have to rub it in!" I crossed my arms.

I put on my normal boots and bag and we both head out. "What do you wanna do next, unless we should go home now?" I ask.

"Ummm, wanna play volleyball in the field?" Kageyama took out a volleyball out of his bag and I stood their shook.

"You had a volleyball in your bag?"

"Yeah, I always bring one with me." Kageyama said it like it was normal.

We pass the ball to each other, and sadly I couldn't move as quickly as I wanted to, because on my bruised legs.

"You okay? You've been limping for quite a while?" Kageyama asks while serving the ball to me.

"Y-yeah, just a few bruises on my legs, nothing to serious." I recieved the ball. He held the ball in his hands and looked like he was deep in thought.

"Hello? Are you gonna serve the ball?" I ask.

"You shouldn't be playing hurt." He looked at me. "When you go home, treat your bruises."

"I will, now what are we going to do?" I take out my phone and see the time. It was 6:47pm and the sun was setting already. "I actually think we should go home."

"Yeah." We take our stuff and I see the sunset. It was really pretty. I get lost in the view, that I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Hello Hinata?"

"Heh, sorry!" I smiled. "The sunset looks nice from here."

"Yeah, but it's getting a bit late."

We walk and it was getting very cold. I start to regret just wearing a hoodie.

"Here." Kageyama took off his puffy jacket and then his jacket, and gave me the jacket. "H-here's my jacket, that would at least keep you a bit warm." He put it on my shoulders and I felt my face start to heat up. Wouldn't a boyfriend do that?

Me and Kageyama looked away from each other and I felt lightheaded from the little action Kageyama did.
HE GAVE ME HIS JACKET?!?!

"Well, bye Hinata." Kageyama waved. "Make sure to treat those bruises." He ordered me.

"I will! And bye!" I yell at him and skipped my way home. I still had his jacket with me.

I feel safe and warm.
