8: Fights

3rd POV

Hinata walked into practice looking slightly alright. He still had his energetic spirit and was doing fine in practice, but his dark circles under his eyes were very visible and he felt uncomfortable around Kageyama, ever since when he had that sudden out burst around Kageyama.

"Um is it just me or is Hinata acting weird around Kageyama?" Yamaguchi looked at Tsukishima for an answer.

"Doesn't he always act weird in general." Tsukishima rolled his eyes. "And I don't really care."

"Of course..." Yamaguchi nervously laughed expecting he would say something rude.

"HINATA CAN YOU JUST FOCUS ON THE GAME?" Kageyama grabbed onto Hinata's collar and starts shaking him.

"I will if you stop shaking me!" Kageyama let go and resulting in Hinata falling onto his bum.

"Y'know, you're acting weird ever since me and Erika started dating, are you okay?" Kageyama glared at Hinata. "C'mon what is it? Do you not approve? Do you hate Erika!"

"CAN YOU JUST STOP TALKING ABOUT HER ALL THE TIME!" Hinata yelled, grabbing everyone's attention.
"S-sorr-"

Hinata was interrupted when Kageyama slapped him in the face.

"You're just overreacting dumbass." Kageyama was gritting his teeth.

"L-look, I didn't mean to s-say that!" Hinata stuttered.

"Look! If you hate her, just say so!" Kageyama grabbed Hinata's collar again. "How could you hate her! She did nothing, except be an actual person who isn't a dumbass like you!"

Kageyama saw tears forming in Hinata's eyes. He knew he struck a nerve inside Hinata. Hinata started struggling to get out of Kageyama's grasp. As soon as Hinata got out he sprinted right out of the gym.

"Hinata!" Suga chased after Hinata.

"Wow, that was dramatic." Tsukishima blurted out. "I guess you are right, something isn't normal."

"Will Hinata be alright..." Yamaguchi was worried.

Kageyama realized what just happened and looked around to see everyone looking at him.

"We need to talk Kageyama." Dachi grabbed Kageyama's shirt and dragged him to the corner of the gym. "Look, I know that Hinata isn't acting the greatest right now, but you don't have to drag your girlfriend in the fight!" Dachi put his arm on Kageyama's shoulder.

"And don't be so rude to Hinata! He looks tired, so don't make his condition worse!"

"I-I-I'm S-sorry..." Kageyama had a hard time saying those 2 words.

"Okay Kageyama, is it really that hard to say sorry?" Dachi glared at Kageyama.

"Hinata wait!" Suga was trying to catch up with Hinata.

Hinata stopped in the back of the gym and started crying his eyes out.

"It's okay! It's okay!" Suga pats Hinata on the back. "Now, would you tell me what's going on?"

Hinata was trying to say words, but kept getting interrupted by his own sobbing and breathing.

"It's fine Hinata, just breathe in and out." Suga reassures Hinata.

"I hate everything..." Hinata wipes his eyes. "I hate how Kageyama always rubs in my face how he has a girlfriend, I hate the girl Kageyama is with! And I hate how much I like Kageyama..."

Suga looked at Hinata with shock. He thought about how Hinata had to hold all of those emotions in his body.

"I hate how Kageyama is so mean to me! Comparing me! Insulting me! He never ever thinks about me! Only negative stuff." Hinata rambles.

"Hinata, you like Kageyama?" Suga asks.

"I know it's weird for me to like a guy, but yeah..." Hinata looks down.

"Hinata, sure other people find liking the same gender as yourself strange, but it's not that weird" Suga smiles. "Don't tell anyone, but I like Daichi... And I know how it feels when you like someone who doesn't like you back."

"Wait, you like Daichi?" Hinata smiles.

Suga was flustered. "Y-yeah, but don't say that to him!"

They both laugh and without realize Hinata finally stopped crying.

"Thanks Suga for cheering me up..." Hinata hugs Suga. "Sorry for causing all this trouble! My emotions are just messed up right now!"

"Don't worry! Emotions suck to be honest. And it wasn't your fault that your emotions are all over the place. You need to start letting your emotions out or tell somebody about them. If you don't, they would build up inside you and out of no where, you are going to break."

"Wow, you know a lot!"

"Yeah, it's all through experience." Suga nervously laughs. "If you want, at night we could call and you can tell me all about your problems between you and Kageyama."

"Yeah, that would be helpful!" Hinata smiles. "And thank you..."
