16: Believe me!

I was walking to the gym, hoping to see Kageyama. Then finally waiting for 5 minutes, I see a tall guy, with black hair. Kageyama.

I walked right to him and looked at him straight in the eyes.

"What do you want shrimp?" He seemed annoyed. "Can you get out of my way?"

He tried to walk around me, but I move where he was about to step.

"No, you need to listen Kageyama!" I sigh, not sure if i'm doing the right thing. "Erika is lying! Whatever she said about me is all a lie! I would never bully her or insult her in anyway! (but now that I know her, she deserves a few insults)"

"Shut up, I don't care about your lies." He tried to shove me, but I grabbed onto his arm. "Ugh, let go!"

"No! I'm telling the truth! How dense can you be!" I start yelling words that just ended up in my head. "Look, Erika is mean to me! I never harrassed her in anyway! Besides, as your friend why would I be mean to my friend's girlfriend!" I shake him.

"Stop blaming my girlfriend! Y'know, I'm not suppose to say this, but you need this shoved up right in your brain!" He lifted my shirt, and I was floating above the ground. "Erika has been through a lot! Her family isn't doing the best, she gets bullied in school, but even though that's in her way she still makes an effort to treat everyone with respect! Now you can cut that dumbass lie of yours and shut up. I am not your friend! I can't even knowledge you as a teammate. You are a piece of trash."

I was about to cry when a voice in my head starts to talk.

"Say what's on your mind!"

I look at Kageyama with a cold stare.

"Look Kageyama, you can go believe that lying, attention seeking bitçh. But you are dating a manipulative girl! I might seem like the bad guy in your love story, but really, she just wants you all to herself. I might not have evidence that she is actually just acting, and trying to play the victim, but at the same time, you don't have evidence yourself either! So you can shove her fake excuses up you ass. Because if you think that she is a goddess or a girl who only speaks the truth. You are so wrong."

Kageyama stares at me in disbelief. Soon it turned into an evil chuckle.

"So, you hate my girlfriend?"

"Did you even listen to what I just said-"

"Whatever Hinata, just get out of my face." Kageyama dropped Hinata and walked away.

Kageyama's POV

Was Hinata actually telling the truth? He sounded very serious. I know I seem like an idiot, but I think Erika is telling the truth...

"K-Kageyama..." Erika studdered. "I need to tell you something..."

"Yeah?" I asked.

"You promise not to tell anyone, okay?" She smiled sweetly.

"Of course! Is there something wrong?" I felt worried.

"You're cute when you worry about me!" She giggles. "Well, I didn't know when it was a good time to tell you this, but today is the time. So I don't live in a safe environment... At my house, my dad mentally and sometimes physically abuses me. And I've always felt depressed, but I don't know if I am mentally healthy, because I never consulted with a therapist."

I look at he in shock. I hug her and whisper in her ear.

"I'm so sorry to hear this! I'll be there no matter what." I comforted her.

"I would also, fake a smile here and there. And I know this may be a shock, but you know Hinata?"

I was confused. How does Hinats have to be in our conversation?

"Of course, he's a really good friend?"

"Y-yeah, well you insults me, because I your girlfriend... And he threatened me that if I don't break up with you, he would ruin my life!" She cried.

I felt anger. How could Hinata do that to my girlfriend! At the same time, that doesn't sound like Hinata at all?

"B-but that doesn't sound like Hinata?" I was still hugging her tight.

"I-I know, but h-he just fakes that he's sweet!" She sobbed. "I'm super sorry for showing the truth about Hinata... I feel so bad! I shouldn't have told you that!"

"No no no! I'm glad you told me!" I smiled. "But Hinata is a threat to you and our relationship. I will confront him."

"No! Your guy's friendship will be ruined! You guys are a great duo!" She apologizes.

"Nonsense! I don't care about him. He treated you badly!"

"Okay, but as you know now, he's good at acting, so if he starts to cry or try to make me look bad, just know that he's lying. And people might take his side. Since he seems like a nice person.."

"Okay, I promise to always be with you!"

"Hinata just hates my girlfriend, I don't believe him, unless I see it with my own eyes."
