- it was the beginning of summer and me and the crew was laughin and joking around
Kim: Candice you a lil gansta
Candice: lol we all!
Kevin: ganasta squad! I like
-lol ! There was a click of keys and we all grew quite and an officer opened the Gate.
Officer: umm Kaliyah you have a visitor
Me: a visitor?
-I got up and the officer cuffed me and led me out to the meeting room and I sat behind a glass with a phone to my left and a lady sat on the other side. I didn't know what to say so I sat there and she pointed to the phone so I picked it up
Lady: hey baby
Me.....
Lady: how u been?
Me.......
Lady: *sniff* I know you may not know who I am but can you just please say something?
Me.... (*my mouth was open but no words came out*)
Lady: I'm so happy your alive! I've been looking for you for years! Your farther thought you was dead
Me:.... I-I
Lady: *sniff* what happen to your face baby!
Me......
Lady: *put her hand on the glass* Kaliyah please talk to me
Me: (*i place my hand on the glass to match her hand and I looked up at her face and at that moment I remember exactly who she was*)
Me: Mom?
