Aria watched as Thor threw his mug in the fire, shouting out for another, making the fire grow more. She focused on the fire, almost feeling drawn to it, not realizing Thor's approaching form. Loki pulled Aria with him, to stand to the right of his brother. He had lingering smirk on his face, which left Aria with an uneasy feeling.

" Nervous brother?" Thor let out an obnoxiously arrogant laugh to the girls personal opinion.
" Have you ever known me to be nervous?" When you thought he couldn't be any more self absorbed

" Hmm, there was the time in Nornhiem..." Loki said with little remorse.
" That was not nerves, brother. It was the rage of battle,"

" Ah, I see." Loki mumbled out sarcastically, before being interrupted once more.

"How else could I have fought my way through a hundred warriors and pulled us out alive."

" Uh, as I recall, I was the one who, veiled us in smoke to ease in our escape," Thor let out another laugh, avoiding Arias pissy deminor.
" Some do battles, other just do tricks," Confused as to why Loki suddenly tensed, she looked over to see a random attendant fulfilling Thor's prior command. All while trying to stifle a laugh from Thor's banter.

She watched as his hand gestured towards the goblet that was being held in the Attendants hands. The red faced man looked at the cup with confusion and worry, before letting out a shout of fear and dropping the plate that held the goblet. Once hitting the floor, three eels made their way out of the confinement of the glass. Loki let out a chuckle, while Aria rolled her eyes at the princes short temper.

" Loki," Thor said knowingly, then the eels turned back into spilt win, the illusion breaking. Loki looked at the wine curiously, not being the one to break the spell just yet. He looked to his right, and gave Aria a proud smile.
" Well done, darling."

" Now that was just a waste of good wine." Thor pouted out, like a child.
" Just a bit of fun, right my friend?" Aria rolled her eyes once more, growing tired of this never ending conversation.
" And that 'darling' is why you don't have friends. Can we please get this over with already?" She let her frustration out, but not forgetting to mock Arsehole number 2, Arsehole number 1 just continued to laugh while taking a hold of his helmet.

" Nice feathers," Loki said rhetorically regarding the helmet.
" You don't really want to start this again, do you, Cow?"

Aria was now the one to laugh out, not bothering trying to hide it like the Attendant tried to do. Loki glared down at her, and was faced with her looking him dead in the eye, a small glint of purple swirling within her pupils, testing him. " What? Are you going to turn me into eels?"

" I was being sincere." Loki stated out, breaking the staring contest.
" You're incapable of sincerity."

" Nice word choice Thor, " Aria said patting him on the shoulder.
" Am I?" Loki said looking his brother in the eye, all mischief suddenly lost. " I've looked forward to this day as long as you have. You're my brother and my friend. Sometimes I'm, envious, but never doubt that I love you."  Thor looks for any hints of lies or irony in his brothers faces, but doesn't seem to find any.

He places his large hand on Loki's shoulder." Thank you."

" Now give us a kiss."

" Stop," Thor exclaimed pushing him back a little, then making any final adjustments to his ceremonial clothing. Aria smiled softly, preferring this side of Loki, before she too tried to make the insufferable clothing less clingy. Loki took her hand stopping her from fidting, and wrapped his larger ones around hers. " How do I look?"

Loki looked back at his brother, almost looking proud. " Like a king," suddenly they heard a loud blast from a horn, and Aria wished that she could just leave, and do anything but go into that room.  " It's time."  No shit sherlock.
