They slowly made their way into the town, the residents of the town kept giving them weird looks. It only then occurred to Aria, that they looked liked they had come from the middle ages.

A boy watched as they strolled down the street, and dropped his ball when he saw one of the five's cloths change into a more modern look, compared to the others. The ball rolled under a parked car, and he ran to go retrieve, but wasn't able to reach it.

" When did you learn that trick?" Sif asked Aria, while Volstagg lifted the parked car.
" A while back."

The boy's mouth dropped opened when he saw Volstagg easily holding the car with one hand. " So much for staying on the low." Aria mumbled out, watching the little stun.
" There you go, lad!" He shouted out, before heading off again. The boy just stared, standing frozen.

" Is it just me, or does Earth look a bit different to you?" Volstagg continued, looking around the place with strange looks.
" It has been a thousand years..." Sif said, trailing off.

" Maybe for you." Aria said, keeping an eye out for a familiar man.
"Things change so fast here. You leave for a millennium, and it's like the whole neighborhood's gone," He stopped and begins to sniff the air, " Perhaps we should split up."

Aria turned her head for one moment and Volstagg was already gone, then in the next, he was smashing two Agents heads together.

" Volstagg, you can't just knock people out. Especially these guys." Aria scolded the man, noticing their S.H.I.E.L.D badges. Oh Nick's gonna kill me...

" Never cared for spies." He said, defending his actions, and starts to leave. She watched with widened eye as he pulled a cheeseburger from the ground, and take a bite. She ran her hands down her face and let out a groan. Suddenly she began to feel out of breath, and her heart rate quicking.

She's familiar with the symptoms, having dealt with panic attacks all the time, but what she didn't know, was what was triggering it. She tried controlling her breathing and began looking around, finding any possible clues. Tears began to coat her eyes, then a cheeseburger wrapper caught her eyes.

Dad...

" Found you!" Volstagg shouted out nearby, Aria still experiencing the attack, turned to see him looking through a glass window, the others with him waving through it. She saw Thor racing through the door greeting his friends. When Thor set eyes on Aria, he was beyond shocked. He went up to her and pulled her into a tight embrace.

" Oh my God. You're Aria Stark! Tony Stark's daughter!" Aria forgot that here on Earth, her father was famous, she looked over at the woman who spoke.
" I don't believe it," an older man stated.
" Who are they?" A woman wearing glasses asked.

" Lady Sif and the Warriors Three, and out newest companion Aria the Öflugur. Surely you've heard tales of Hogun the Grim, Fandral the Dashing, and I, Volstagg the Svelte," The older man looked pointingly at Volstaggs rather massive gut. " We'll perhaps I've put on a little more muscle since I was last here."

" That would have been a thousand years ago? Northern Europe?"

" In Scandinavia?" Aria asked both the woman Thor was infatuated with, and the gingered god.

" Exactly! Those lovely herring people. They worshipped us!" He let out, Thor grins and layed a hand on Volstaggs shoulder.
" My friends, I've never been happier to see anyone. But you should not have come." He admitted, Aria could feel something was askew.

" You know I can't. My father is dead because of me. I must remain in exile." The others look at each other all looking baffled.
" Thor, you father's still alive," Aria said to Thor, who looks at her bewildered.
