KING's ELDER MATE

Chapter 6

As I was in bed laying down after he brought me here. He left after because he wants to start the preparation of our upcoming ceremony. He even assigned a guard out of my door to stop me from escaping. As if that will stop me.

I teleported back to my room to the Elder place to wear my mask and coat before getting out and went to my bestfriend room.

I just enter her room without knocking and I seen her just done putting her mask on.

"Your about to go out?" I ask her as she stared at me, eyes wide open and her mouth slightly open. I can see that she's surprise to see me here.

She suddenly run at me when she's out of her shock and hug me so tight.

"Oh my gosh girl!! I'm so happy your back in whole without a bloody mess in your ravishing body." She even keep hopping in joy after she hug me.

I stop her from hopping and said, "Girl. I'm happy that your happy to see me but I'm actually in much worst situation."

Her face change to worry after I said that.

"What do you mean? What happened" She asked and I told her what happened.

After I told her everything instead of her acting worried, she was squealing like a high school girl being noticed by her crush for the first time.

I just shake my head while just waiting for her to stop squealing and hopping. If she won't stop that, I will assumed that she ate a rabbit.

"Girl! It's not worse. You are mated to a King. So happy for you! But I thought we can't have mate anymore?" She asked as confusement written to her face.

I gave her a "don't ask me too girl, that's the reason I'm here" look.

"Well, why don't we ask the Head Elder?" she suggest.

"I can't. If I ask them, then, they would known that I am the King was looking for. It's a great opportunity for me that the head didn't come with me so he wouldn't know the result." I said to her seriously as if I'm convincing her but actually I am.

"I don't want to be removed in my position being an elder." I added and she nod in response.

"Then, what's your plan? If you will continue being an Elder. The King will obviously look for you again if he find out that your gone." She said as if she's much more in trouble than me.

"He wouldn't find out if I'll be careful. But first, we need to convince the Head Elder that I'm not the girl the King was looking for." I said and she agree so we went out to her room and went to the Head Elder office.

I knock to his door and when I heard him that we can come in. We entered.

As he seen me, he sit upright and focus on us.

" I see that your back, I guess you won't be remove in your position." He said and he sign us that we can go out now.

As we're outside. We jump in delight that I won't be remove anymore.

I guess, I could continue on what I am in beggining and that made me happy.

But, I need to go back now to the Palace cause the King might be came back.

I turn to my friend Miya and said " I need to go back now. Let's see each other when I came back but now, if someone's look for me. Lie to him/her that I'm gone to a mission. Ok?"

My situation is really complicated. If I could just choose being an Elder and leave the King. It would be fine with me but because I know that he will look for me again so I can't.

She nod her head and hug me.

"Be careful." She said.

I teleported back to the King's room and hide my mask and coat.

He haven't back yet so I decided to try to go out if I can convince the guard.

I open the door and as I peek. The guard eyes follow my movement. As I stand infront of him.

"Can you lead me to the King?" I ask and he nod in response.

He started to walk in the hallway. As I'm following him. I pass some pictures that I think was the past ancestor of the King.

As I'm analyzing the pictures, I realized that I still don't know what the Kings name. Excuse for my ignorance but I was into the Elders.

The guard stop infront of a big double door. He knock and said "The Queen Luna is here, King Alpha."

The door was open by him and I enter. As I get in, I saw the King was busy in his paper works. Is this what the King usually do? Sounds boring. I rather into battles with the rogues or witches than being stuck here in four corner of this wall.

"What brings you here?" He ask as he continue what's he doing.

"I'm bored. Am I allowed to go out the Palace?" I ask and this made him stop on what's he doing.

I want to laugh because I already did went out but I actually want to went out freely so that I don't need to hide that I was actually leaving.

"No. You can't go out until I mark you." He said and look at me sternly.

There's no way that he will agree. Werewolves are really protective to his mate. Don't want anyone to touch her and etc. But I'm not a werewolf anymore so I don't feel what he felt. I let out a sigh and sit beside the chair infront of his table.

"When will the ceremony?" I asked and look at him.

"This Friday." He said and stand up and sit infront of my sit and just stared at me.

"What?" I ask because I'm slowly getting nervous with his staring. It looks like his planning something.

He reach for my hand and move it near to his lips. He damp a kiss from my hand to my shoulder. As he was doing it, I'm just staring at him in shock and my heart was exhilarating. The heat creeps on my cheeks and I know I look like a tomato mess.

As he was doing it, he stared at me intently with a longing emotion in his eyes.

If his trying to seduce me? I'll admit that it was actually working. But I'm confused of why am I getting affected in this gentle gesture of him? Even my heart is beating so fast.

I try to pull my hand out of his hold but it only pull me towards him. Instead, I'm sitting on his lap and our face was so near that our lips only inches away before it touch.

His eyes move on my pink plump lips. I unconsciously bit my bottom lips and his eyes turn darker. His leaning forward as if he was about to kiss me but-

"King Alpha. The Head Elder is here." This made me out of my reverie and move back where I sitted.

Did I hear the Beta's right? The Head Elder is here!! I panic in the inside but I maintain my posture.

"Do you want to stay here and listen?" He asked as he was back to his sit earlier.

I nod and gulp as I was nervous what would they will discuss. I know, it will be about me.
