KING's ELDER MATE

Chapter 2

All of the warrior have been place in their position. I already sense the rogues sorround as well as the witch. Too bad she's not stronger as I am. 

"All get ready. Now!" I said in mindlink.

I cast the spell and the rogues has been seen. The warriors attack them.

I teleport on the witch hiding place which is just in this secluded wood cabin. 

I cast a spell to lock her powers so she can't use it. 

"I will only ask you once, if you don't answer it immediately, I will snap your neck." I threatened her as I sit in her table. 

She look at me in anger but I can sense that she's afraid. So much for a façade. 

"Who's the leader behind all of this?" I asked as I cross my arms. 

She laugh in cockily and said:

"As if I will tell you. Even if you kill me." 

"Alright." I said and snap her neck.

Her eyeballs rolled as life drained from her. 

I burn the cabin with the dead body of the witch inside. 

I teleport back to the EverGreen pack and saw that all the rogues has been captured and no one has died. Some are injured but the pack doctor has been giving them aid. 

The Alpha walk towards me. 

"Thank you for the help. All rogues has been captive and will put in the cell. We are really grateful." He said. 

"your welcome. I'll go now." I said and teleport back to the Elders place. 

I saw some Elders are done also. I went to the kitchen to get ice cream, coke float and popcorn so when my bestfriend will be here, everything is ready. 

I put the popcorn, coke float and the ice cream at the table in front of the television. 

I look at the Elders who stayed at the dining room. 

"Everyone.. Kindly don't touch this foods cause we will eat this while watching. Okay?" I said as I look one of them. 

"Can I join?" Nana asked. 

"Sure Nana. I'll just went to my room to change." I said and jog upstairs. 

I change in blue jeans and white long sleeve shirt. Then I went downstairs. 

I saw Miya talking with Nana as I get closer to them I heard them talking about what happened to Miya's journey. 

" Bitch. I'd slap the alpha as a goodbye. Hella good right?!" she said as she smirk in confidence. 

Nana just nod and burst in laughter. 

I sit beside them and said:

" I can already imagine what's the reaction of the alpha." I said in laughter. 

"Serve him right as I'm actually giving him a favor. He didn't even said thank you." she defend. 

"We'll, let's forget that and just chill and watch movies!" I said as I wiggle the remote. 

I open the netflix and we chose to watch "Train to Busan" 

It's a great movie. Many emotion can be felt. But more at it. This movie open my memories with my mother. 

Our movie have been cut off by our Elders leader. 

"Everyone proceed in the meeting room. We have some issue to discuss. " 

I turn off the television and went with them at the meeting room. 

We all sit down and wait for the Elders leader announcement. 

" As we already solve the issue about the rogues. We still don't know who's the leader behind this. Keep your guard up. We still don't know the reason of their attacked. As for the King, he asked some of us to lead the mating game tomorrow." He said

Mating game? Never knew that it still acknowledge. I really thought it was ended. 

" Doesn't mating game has been banned by the King before? " one of the elder asked. 

" Yes but it was unbanned by the King again as there is a gossip that he haven't found his mate. The king himself will be a spectator in the game to have a chance to find his mate if his mate have accidentally participate in the game." He said and look each of us seriously. 

"This confuse me. Why does the King made us participate in this? He haven't done this before. So suspenseful." one of the Elders state. 

"I still don't have an idea why. But don't let your guard down and abide with the Elders law." 

We all nodded. 

"I volunteer myself to lead the mating game." one of the elder said. 

"Who's with you?" the Elder asked 

"I'll be with Nana and Harith" He said. 

"OK. Everthing is settled. Meeting adjourned." He said. 

We all stand up and went out. 

"Goodluck for tomorrow.. Hope everything went well tomorrow." I said as we both walk upstairs. 

"Yah. Hope so girl. Goodnight." She said and went inside her room. 

I also went inside in my room and do my night routine. 

I lay on my bed thinking of what would it felt to be part of the mating game. Sometimes it made me envy those who have mates because we Elders don't have. It's been a years since they cut my connection with my wolf. My mate can't find me anymore as the mate pull have been sealed. I didn't chose to be this, it was been destined. 

I close my eyes and fall asleep. My mind brought me to the King's place. 

This confused me, did I teleported unconsciously? I called the maid but they didn't heard me. I touch her but my hands just pass her body. I was shock. This is the first time this happend to me. I roam around the Palace. Maybe there is a reason why I was brought here. 

As I walk around, I smelled something so captivating, I walk through the door and saw a guy standing in the balcony. 

I only see his broad back, such a fit body for a man. I try to move closer but something pulled me back and I was awake. I open my eyes and saw that it still 5 am in the morning. 

"What kind of dream is that? Is that even a dream.?" These question bothered my mind. 

I just let out a deep sigh and fall asleep again.
