"Ya know, I never really understood why you're still working part-time here. You earn enough money as is at your veterinary job, and from what I understand, your brother also works part-time to cover his tuition, so it's not that either. You see, I actually balance 2 jobs for money reasons. Rent is expensive, and while my graphic designing job pays relatively well, it's still not enough."

"I don't know. I just like the atmosphere here I guess. Being a veterinarian is more gruesome than people think. It's kinda nice to just come here after work and relax. As for money, I usually send some every month to my parents and my brother just in case. Couple that with donations to charities and animal refuges as well as taxes and insurance, and I'd say I'm living a pretty normal life. I keep a handful more than the amount of money needed each month just in case. Plus, I have off Sundays. No formal schedules on Sundays gives me a nice day to relax and readjust myself for the week ahead."

"That all sounds great, but I'm still hung up on the fact that you consider working as a waitress a form of relaxation. Couldn't be me. If I were you, I would come here solely to dance and have a blast."

"Yep I think I've seen you around here a few times. You work as a bouncer only on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, right Bora-ssi? I think I saw you here once on a Sunday night. All I can say is, I didn't know so much energy could be packed into such a small package of a human."

Taking advantage of a momentary lull in activity, the shorter of the two satin suit wearing bouncers struck up a conversation with Minji while the taller of the two wandered off somewhere, nowhere to be found.
Although the two had both been working part-time at FeverDream for 3 months, they worked in different areas of the club most of the time and could only be called acquaintances at most.

"Ok sure, I may be small, but I am indeed powerful. How else would I get the job as a bouncer?"

"Fair enough, fair enough. I think I've spoken a few times with your other bouncer friend, the one with the deep voice. I think her name was Yoobin. She's helped me get out of a few unpleasant encounters with patrons."

"Oh yeah Yoobin! She's pretty cool. Definitely the type to protect another woman in need. Yoobin is actually my roommate and yet another starving artist. She's cycled through many odd jobs just to buy art and sculpting supplies."

"Oh that's great! Not the starving artist part... just the artist part. Do you know if she does commissions? I've been looking to send a small gift to my brother recently."

"Yeah she does commissions. I'll be sure to call her over when tonight's shift ends for you."

"Thank you, Bora-ssi."

"No need to be so formal! I think we're the same age anyways. By the way, and this may just be me being nosey, but are you and the DJ here an item? I see the two of the leaving together a lot, and you seem the most comfortable with her out of everyone that works here."

"The DJ? Who, me and Handong? Oh, we're just close friends. We've known each other for almost a decade. Our apartments are just close to each other's, so we carpool and leave together sometimes. I could ask the same question of you and Yoobin. Anything there?"

"Well there was something there in the past. She's both my best friend and my ex. To this day I'm relieved that she and I ended on a good note, because I don't know what I would do if she wasn't here to help me and offer me advice."

"Well that's great! I'll be sure to find Yoobin at the end of this shift. Sadly, while I'd love to talk more and get to know you better, I think we both have to get back to our jobs."
