TGIF (part 2)

A/N: Hi! For those of you who didn't see my short comment, I'm currently trying to find a way to change FeverDream's closing time from 1AM to something later like 3AM, both for realism and to create more opportunities for writing about FeverDream related events in future chapters. That being said, I wanted to just get this change out of the way ASAP, so there's a short, probably rushed, section where I make this change in the chapter. Just a heads-up and thanks for understanding!

Woohyun looked at Bora with a face full of concern. The poor shortie was beet red from embarrassment.

"Should I even ask?" Woohyun said.

"I would honestly prefer if you didn't." Bora replied with a grimace. Not prying any deeper, Woohyun gave Bora a pat on the back.

"Alright, I'll leave you all to it then. I'm gonna go pitch a sales idea to the new bosses. See ya!"

Before Yoobin even had the chance to tease or ask what was going on Bora, Moonbin started speaking to her telepathically.

Hello. I'm Moonbin, Gahyeon's guard. As you may or may not know, telepathy is my ability. I just wanted to inform you that the Girl's Day squadron found a potential enemy near the club. Before you get too nervous or overwhelmed, they're currently taking care of him and Eunseo is making her way over as support. In the meantime, Minah, her clone, and I will be in charge of guarding you all. Seohyun, Yuri, and Hyoyeon may even step in if necessary. They have been made aware of the situation as well. Also, you can try talking to me using your mind. Be careful not to actually speak or move your lips in real life.

Thanks for remaining calm. As for your question, you guys should still be able to return home after the meeting with Seohyun, Yuri, and Hyoyeon sunbae later. One of Minah's 3 clones is currently scouting the nearby area for any other possible threats. I'll do my best to keep you all updated. Any other questions?

Ok great. Then I have one for you. Or, rather, it's more towards Miss Tiffany. It's somewhat related to the situation at hand. Do you know why the usual closing time is so early?

Honestly I have no idea. For questions related to Tiffany-ssi and her thought process, asking Yoohyeon might be a better option. I think since, at first, the primary target was people who cannot stay out too late but still wanted to have some fun, this was a new and cozy nightclub. Funny enough, a lot of people pitched the idea of changing the opening time from 9 to something later like 10 and extending the closing time to sometime later in the morning. She said she would consider it last month actually, but never quite got back to us.

Hmmm...now that I think about it, I think I understand why she was reluctant to close later in the morning. As I'm sure you know, the hours directly after midnight in the other realm are the most dangerous ones. Users of darker magic gain the most power during that time. Black market deals happen then too, and as someone who was rescued from a similarly grim living situation, it's definitely not pretty. I'm sure she didn't want similar things to happen to her workers in this realm.

Huh... You make some good points. Although it's definitely rare to see a club that closes as early as FeverDream does, I'm sure she had our safety in mind. Still though, I would appreciate working a bit later and earning more money. Almost all of our patrons come after 10PM anyway.
