Gahyeon's POV

Yesterday was crazy! Now I had 5 new sisters to room with, but at least we lived in such a nice house! It's a good thing that there are 7 of us to split the bill. I can't really pay that much, but I certainly will try my best to do my part.

Reaching into my coat pockets for my phone, I instead pulled out Handong eonnie's handkerchief. Handong eonnie...I was jealous of her healing abilities at first, but now that I think about it, she's suffers just as much as us, possibly even more on a day-to-day basis. In order to make others happy, she herself has to be sad. That's such a cruel ability to have. When she hugged me, she didn't tear up one bit...which is both impressive and sad...much darker than I imagined.

She's so nice though! A bit overconfident at times, but I could feel her sincerity when we talked yesterday. She really takes care of me well. She looked so pretty in her swimsuit too. Her legs must be ripped or something. I wasn't really putting much effort into pedaling the boat, yet we were still moving thanks to her.

"Gahyeon? LEE GAHYEON!"

Snapping out of my daydream, I see my professor calling attendance. Sitting to my right, my friend Dahyun laughs quietly to herself.

"Here! Sorry sir."

"I'll let this one slide since you're usually my star student. Set a good example for our new friend Moonbin, ok? On with the roll call. Gyuri? Jang Gyuri?"

Moonbin? That's the guy assigned to me! Wow, he's pretty good-looking. The other girls are probably drooling over him already. Willing to bet money on it.

"He's pretty cute," observed Dahyun.

"Dahyun...you're gay..." I said.

"Yeah. Gay, not blind" she retorted.

Unfolding my laptop, I opened the group chat for this class. Sure enough, he essentially has a fan base already. Scrolling through the flurry of chat messages, I didn't notice that Moonbin was making his way up the rows to me until Dahyun tapped me and told me to turn around.

"Gahyeon, right? I'm Moonbin. Nice to meet you."

He sat down next to me, offering his hand for a handshake. Behind me, I heard Dahyun loudly gasp. Way to be subtle Dubu...way to be subtle. Since he's my guard, contact with him should pose no harm. Accepting his handshake, I introduce myself as well.

"Yea. That's me. I promise I'm usually paying more attention than I was just now."

"Haha yeah I don't doubt it. Prof said you were the star student. Fair warning, I'm up for some friendly competition :)"

That's where the conversation ends. As soon as our professor starts lecturing, no more words are exchanged. Opening up a Word document, I begin taking notes on the key points of this programming lecture.

. . .

Notes, notes, and more notes. That's all I do for this class mostly. Over the past hour I've typed up a storm, ending with a solid 6 double-spaced pages, including diagrams.
