Yahaba POV
For today's activities, we did art, something I'm actually good at. But, instead of Kyōtani, some other counselor helped us. He was too busy helping another counselor with archery, which sucked.
"Okay everyone! Today we will be painting rocks! They will go with all the painted rocks by the lake over there," the counselor, who's named Goshiki, pointed at a small tree by the lake, surrounded by other painted rocks.
"I want you guys to paint your personality into these rocks! Like what you like to do, your favorite colors, make it your own special rock!" That was a lot for painting a rock, but they seemed to be excited. Each of them got a good shaped rock for painting and began.
It may be childish of me, but I had to paint with them. For my rock, I painted a lavender purple background, with a volleyball and violin on it.
"Once your done, you can write your name on it with a crayon and go place it by the tree!" Goshiki told them and got an "Okay!" in response.
////
When I finished and it dried, I brought my rock over to the tree. There were dozens of rocks, some having dates on them all the way back to 10 years ago. But, I noticed a rock, it was a light teal colored rock with a volleyball and dog on it, the name written- "Kentaro Kyōtani".
I smiled at the rock and moved some over so I can place mine right next to his.

After other art activities, I hanged out in the plaza while the kids eat. Not really that hungry at the moment, so I'll just chill out here until Kyōtani comes back.
"Hey- Yahaba?" Someone was there, it made me jump, but it was just Oikawa. Anger filled me quickly, "What?" I growled and he looked down
"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have brought you here just for some stupid boy-,"
"What? He broke your heart or something?" I said sarcastically with a chuckle- I'm so petty, but I'm not mad about it.
"No- I'm just sorry and I don't want our friendship to end like this,"
"If you didn't, then you would actually care about me and won't ghost me just so you can talk to a guy you have a 0.1% chance with..." I scoffed and flipped him off respectfully before walking away. I could see him walk away slowly up the trail towards our cabin, sucks to suck I guess.
Oikawa probably deserves better friends anyway. Someone who can actually put up with him.
"That was something," someone was there again, I was about to scream if another person came- its Kiyoko-San..
I stopped myself and stood in front of her, "Yeah...", she took a seat on a bench and invited me to sit next to her.
To not be rude, I did, "I know how it feels. All my girl friends were boy-crazy, leaving me behind..." she sighed, "Sorry about that," I tell her.
"No! It's fine! I was friends with the volleyball dorks of Karasuno's Boys volleyball team! Some of them were annoying, but one of them is now my husband so, guess it all worked out for me in the end..."
I hesitated before asking this, but it just slipped out, "Do you think it'll work out for me too?", she gave me a smile, "I know it will. Don't think I don't see how you and Kyōtani look at each other,".
My face heated up badly and I use my hands to cover it, "Shut up!!!" I squealed.
"Yo! Yahaba!"
Speak of the devil
Kyōtani jogged towards me childishly, his smile bright and fluffy. All the boys were following him laughing hysterically, my heart warmed up and soon I was smiling.
I love this idiot.... God damn I fell in love with someone.
