Alarm goes off
I open my eyes to the sun and the birds chirping. I roll out of bed as I usually do to get up and go to work. Trying to be as quiet as possible because it is 5 am in the morning. As I'm getting dressed for work I check my phone for any messages and as usual none.
As I'm walking downstairs I can hear my two dogs whining as they need to be walked. All I can think about is my upcoming trip to California it's October and we've been planning this trip for months.
As I'm leaving I almost forget to grab my phone just in case someone decides to send me a text message. Whilst at work I couldn't stop talking about this guy I've know for over five years and how in the past July we had reconnected.
I've always had feelings for him ever since the first day I met him. Guess you can say love at first sight. While I was talking with my co-worker the phone rings guess that's my cue to get back to work.
Lunch time rolls around and by this time I still hadn't heard from him and on top of that I was starving. So on my lunch break I decided to call him. As I'm sitting in my car the phone just kept ringing in my head I started thinking is he ignoring me. So many guys have done that in the past that I was too sensitive to understand that maybe he is working too.
Let us flash back to the 1st time I met him. *flash back* I was 19 years old and he was a couple of years older then me. Prior to meeting him I was fresh out of a relationship which I may go into details about that later.
He had the most amazing smile with the nicest wavy hair and eyes that'll make your heart melt. He also smelled lovely and his teeth at the time, not so perfect, but I didn't care he was the perfect shade of a chocolate man, I'd had ever seen.
When he first walked into the restaurant; my jaw completely dropped. I'm sitting there with my God sister and we both look at each other like damn who is that?
He swiftly turns around as his brother taps him on the shoulder to show him where their sitting. As he was walking he happens to catch me staring at him and he flashes me with a smile. I quickly turn my head and say to my sister, "Did you see that?"
She replies, "Yes, I did you had been staring at the man since he walked in."
I look at her with a sign of disapproval from her commit and quickly I responded, "SHUT UP!!!"
"What! Well you were", she says
"So, I have eyes don't I...?"
"You may have eyes" she says, "But that's doesn't mean you have to stare."
I replied, "Whatever, I have to get his name and number he is just too fine for me not to have those digits."
My God sister looks at me in disbelief as if I had just committed the ultimate sin of male and female interactions. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Her response, "Can you not go up to a man you don't know for once and just let us enjoy dinner."
"Sure I guess...You're no fun."
We proceeded to eat our dinner as we laughed and talked about the things we would go and do while we were here in Cali. Even though in the back of my mind and the smile on my face I had made it up in my mind I was going to get his number rather she liked it or not.
So, I made a ditch effort and I say to her, "I'm going to use the restroom." She nods her head face full of food to signify ok she heard me. I had to leave while she was distracted stuffing her face with french fries.
I knew the restroom was on the side of the restaurant where he and his brother were sitting. This giving me the opportunity to say hello.
As I walked by I took a quick glance to see what exactly he was wearing. My my my was I impressed he had on true religion jeans paired up with all white nikes a button down white dress shirt along with a blue and yellow patterned bow tie and a dark blue blazer.
The smell of him had to of been Sean John or I don't know what but he smelled like something out of an expensive cologne store.
