As I'm waiting for him to pick up the phone I'm driving to get some little caesars pizza. He doesn't pick up so it goes to voicemail unsure if I should leave a message or not because it really wasn't important. So, I didn't I hit the end button on my steering wheel as I pulled into the parking lot of little caesars.

Grabbed my wallet and hopped out. Stood in line and ordered the 5 dollar lunch special that comes with a drink. Sat down as they didn't have anymore already ready waited a good 20 minutes got my food and got into the car.

Forgetting I had called Titus I looked at my phone which had been left in the car while I was waiting on my pizza. He didn't leave a message so I cranked up the car waited for Bluetooth to connect and proceeded to call him back.

We literally played phone tag for like 3 or 4 days I would call he didn't answer he would call and I was already back at work and couldn't answer or on another call. At that point it was getting annoying and sending a text message would go unanswered for the both of us for hours on end. So, maybe that was a sign then that it shouldn't be.

We finally talked and when we did we talked for hours catching up on the time we had missed and even talked about the first time we met and how I had planned to come to California with Tanielle in October.

He was super stoked and said he couldn't wait to see me and that he wanted to show me his city and for us to do all these things. It was clear at that point in time we both liked each other and I made it clear that I liked him even after all those years and he said the same.

I'm thinking, ok, we're starting over and this is going to be amazing. I know so much about him, his mom, brothers, and sisters which they all love me. Even though me and him weren't connected. I still would see his mom and dad at different events every now and then when I would visit California.

However, during one of my Cali visits I saw Tavari before even reconnecting with Titus. I asked about Titus and he said he was doing fine and I asked does he think Titus would remember me after 5 years and I'm 24 now and he is 26. Tavari says lots of things have changed for his brother he went to jail for a year. Explaining this to be the reason why I stopped hearing from Titus.

Tavari was even engaged to be married and I met his fiancé and me and her hit it off like we'd known each other for years. They told me they would be in my state in July for a brief family vacation all of them even Titus which Tavari knew I would love to see him.
