Before I knew it, 30 minutes passed by. One hour... one freaking hour until the truth that Kris worked so hard to hide for 16 years is being exposed.

So obviously I am very calm.... not.

I paced the room back and forth after Kris, my mom, left to do work. I had to get my mind off of this. I had to calm down.

But unfortunately, that doesn't look very promising.

I decided to change into the clothes Kris brought me that was apparently Kendall's. Kris said we were the same size, so I should fit into them. She brought me a pair of Victoria Secret sweats, and to be a sweatsuit, it was very fancy I have to say...

Black with rhinestones on it, I slid the outfit on and it fit me perfectly and snug. And on the bright side it was comfy and cute.

I sat on the bed and pulled out my small, barely compatible cell phone. It was a flip phone... I know, I know, flip phones are from like the last decade... but that was I all I could afford, and I learned to appreciate what I did have.

I sent Aaron a quick text. He was on my mind alot after the way he kissed me and told me how he felt. I just wish he had told me sooner... things would have been so different if he had've.

To:Aaron
"Hey, it's Kamryn. I am in Calabasas, safe and sound. I wanted to see how you were doing."

It didn't take long for a response to buzz through my old and worn down phone.

To: Kamryn.
"Oh my God. I have been so worried. Don't worry about me, take care of yourself. Just please don't change... after all, you are one of them now..."

I looked down at the phone confused. What does that mean? I am one of them now... what the hell?

I started to type back a fiery text to Aaron when a quiet knock sounded from the door. I looked up and it was Kris . "It's time." She grinned at me.

"Oh." I sighed. "Okay.."

I flipped my phone down and set it on the dresser as I walked towards the door where she stood watching me. "Is that your phone?" She asked curiously.

I nodded and sighed. "I learned to appreciate what I could afford... even if I did get judge mental looks every where I went." I folded my arms and shivered.

Kris became humbled at what I said. She shrunk down. "I'm sorry... I should have provided for you. George agreed to keep me updated on you but-"

"You are here now. That's all that matters." I said sincerely as I cut her off.

Her eyes watered. "I don't know who you inherited your sweetness from." She half laughed as she dabbed her eyes to rid of the baby tears. "Are you ready, Kamryn?"

I nodded and swallowed a lump in my throat. "It's now or never, right?"

Kris grinned and wrapped her arm around me. She led me out of the bedroom I am now lucky to call mine, and down the spiral black stairs.

We turned a corner and followed the legendary black and white checkered floor into the kitchen.

Kris walked ahead of me through a hallway full of pictures, and I couldn't help but stop and look. First on the wall was Kim, and then a picture of Kim and Kanye on the cover of Vogue with baby North. Then Khloe, and Kourtney... next was Kylie, Kendall, Bruce... and slowly I realized this was the Karsdashian-Jenner family. And I wasn't on the wall.

"Are you coming?" Kris looked back at me.

With one last glance at the wall, I nodded and followed behind her into the elegant, dazzling white kitchen.

Kim sat at the family table with North in her arms. Kylie stood in the corner on her phone, and didn't look up at all.

"Hi girls." Kris said, walking to the fridge. I stood awkwardly beside the fridge.

Kim looked up at Kris, "Hey. You won't believe what North--" she slowly brought her sentence to a halt, as it didn't take her long to become aware of my presence, which seemed quite awkard to be honest. "Oh..." She began, looking back at Kris for an explanation.

"I'll explain later. What were you saying?" Kris suddenly shut Kim up and changed the subject.

But Kim didn't fall for it like Khloè did. She narrowed her eyes at me suspiciously. "Uhm... I was just saying that North almost took her first steps today. She was so close!"

Kris smiled, walking over and kissing North on the cheek. "What? You were gonna walk without me here?!" She said dramatically, forcing a smile and half giggle out of North.

"Lets see if she'll try again." Kim stated, setting her daughter gently on the ground. Kylie looked up suddenly, and her eyes drifted over to me.

North began crawling in my direction, past Kris, and in a straight path towards me.

I laughed, looking up. I noticed Kylie staring me down, which for some reason made me kind of unsettled.

North reached my feet and looked up with a smile on her cute little face. She squealed and I bent down to pick her up.

I wrapped my hands around her small body and looked up at Kim for approval. She nodded and said "Go ahead..."

I picked her up and swooped her into my arms. She cuddled up to my chest and had a content grin on her face. A tiny hand reached up to my cheek.

I began to make funny faces at her and Kris and Kim laughed along with North. Kylie still stood with the same expression she has had for the past 5 minutes.

"You are really good with her." Kim stated. "Are you a babysitter or something?"

Kris cleared her throat and looked at me. I looked at her and back at Kim. "Uh, I've babysat in the past, yes."

"Hmm." Kim nodded as she looked like she was deep in thought. "I might just look in to it!"

"Look into what?" Kris asked nervously, turning to Kim.

Kim smiled, "Hiring her as a babysitter for Northy! What's your name again?" She said, turning back to me.

"Uh- Kamryn..." I said nervously, looking at Kris.

"What a pretty name! And mom, does she not look exactly like Kendall!" She said.

Kris looked at me and at Kim. "Yeah, I thought so too! Hey Kamryn.. come in here for just a sec..."

She walked past me and back into the hallway of pictures. "Are you okay??"

I looked at her with wide eyes. "Uh.. I'm fine? What's wrong?"

"I just don't want anyone to bombard you with questions, especially before I tell them. I want you to be comfortable." Kris said.

I smiled, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Kris, I am fine. Yeah, this whole thing is a little scary. But, I am coping. I have been through worse. Don't worry about me... worry about them." I laughed.

"That is true.." She laughed.

We walked back into the kitchen and Kylie was now sitting at the table in the family room, out of the kitchen. Kim still sat at the dinner table with North.

"So I heard that Kourt and Scott are coming over?" Kim asked.

"News sure does travel fast in this family." Kris laughed.

"What's the occasion?" Kim asked curiously.

"I guess we'll find out soon..." Kris didn't let any information slip. I sighed.

North crawled over to the window and pressed her tiny hand against it, making a shriek of a laugh.

"North! Do you wanna go outside at the pool?" Kim asked.

"I can take her?" I suggested.
