As I slowly let go of the embrace between Kris and I, I realized that I didn't want it to stop.

She looked towards the spiral-like black stairs that lead to the upstairs. Looking back at me, she said, "are you ready?"

I swallowed a lump in my throat and nodded. We walked up the stairs and past Kendall's bedroom. She wasn't home. I recognized it because I've seen it so many times on TV. Next we passed Kylie's room.

Kris kept walking until a figure exited the room. "Uh.. Kylie..." Kris mumbled. She looked between us anxiously. I didn't realize just how much we look alike until now.

"Hey mom." Kylie shrugged. Her eyes wandered pass her mom and to me curiously... "Who's this?"

This is where the tricky part comes into play. There is no way I can just be adopted by this family and live with them and eat with them every night, and questions not be asked. They will have to be answered sooner or later.

"Mom?" Kylie asked again when Kris became silent.

Kris said, "I'll explain later. Have you cleaned your room like I asked? No phone until you get it done."

Kylie's head fell back as she groaned. She turned back around and walked in her room. Before she shut the door she looked at me one last time, with a curious look on her face.

After she shut the door we kept walking down the hall. I looked over at Kris and said "When are you going to tell?"

"Tonight at dinner." She responded. "I just need some time to figure out what I am going to say...."

"Oh, okay." I responded back.

We reached a tall white door and Kris opened it. "This is the first guest room."

I looked inside it and it was huge. The walls were white as snow with diamond-like beads on it all over. The bed was white, sparkling fabric that looked like diamonds, and the rest of the accessories in the room were silver. It was so fancy.

"Want to see the next one or do you like this one?" She asked patiently.

"This one is really pretty but can I see the other too?" I asked. Kris nodded and said no problem.

"It's past mine and Bruce's bedroom..." She informed me as we kept walking.

I cleared my throat and said, "the color or size of the room doesn't really matter to me... I am just grateful you're letting me stay here."

Kris stopped and looked over at me with watery eyes. "Don't thank me... I should be thanking you. You are so sweet, Kamryn."

As we reached the next room, she smiled and said, "this one is my favorite guest room..."

The door slowly opened and kris walked in before me. "Since the only guest that usually stays in this room is the girl's teenage friends.... I let Kendall and Kylie design it."

I looked around and my mouth dropped. "Wow." I breathed. The walls were covered in thick black and white horizontal stripes, with a vibrant red comforter on the bed and white accessories.. all sitting on white carpet. In the corner was a tall red lamp. It was absolute stunning.

The other room I looked at was all white and silver, and way too fancy for me. This room is fancy too, but it has more color and personality to it.

"I like this one." I smiled from ear to ear. My old room was a dirty white color with grey carpet and a sheet on the bed. This is one looks like it came from a story book.

"I'm glad you like it!! This room is so beautiful... just like you." She smiled, hugging me. "Do you have a suitcase or anything you want the housekeeper to unpack?"

I looked around and grabbed ahold of my tote bag.. it wasn't even the size of a small suitcase. It was more like a purse when compared to the Kardashian's suitcases and bags.
I held it up... "This."

"That's all the clothes you brought?" She asked shocked.

I shook my head. "There is just a tshirt and sweatpants in here. The rest is my wallet, permit, and a few other small things."

Kris's mouth dropped. "First thing tomorrow, we are going shopping."

"That's okay, but I-" I began, but she cut me off.

"No buts." Kris hushed me. "I am treating you to a day all about you. I atleast owe you that." She paused and looked me up and down. "Hold on.... Wait here..." She said and then turned around and disappeared.

I looked around me and she was no where in sight. I took it upon myself to venture out to find her, even though she did say to stay put. I was right by the stairs when the front door flew open and voices came flooding in. I ran as fast and quietly as I could back to the guest bedroom... well, my bedroom I guess?

I hid quietly behind the door as I heard loud female voices coming up the stairs. One of them sounded like Khloè maybe?

Then I heard Kris's voice. "Kendall! Khloe! You're home... early?" She said shocked. I peeked from behind the door to watch what was going on.

Khloe and Kendall stood at the top of the stairs looking at Kris bewildered. Khloe said, "What your prob mom?" She laughed.

"Nothing!" Kris said, acting jumpy.

"Why do you have my clothes, mom?" Kendall asked, looking at the outfit she held folded in her arms. I guess that's what she went to get...

"Oh, just... trying them on." Kris lied. She is a terrible liar to say at the least.

"Try them on?" Khloe laughed loudly. "In your dreams!" She laughed again and they dismissed the odd encounter and walked past Kris.

Kris looked in my direction and sighed in relief. She reached the door that I was hiding behind and whispered my name. "Kamryn?"

I stepped out. "Oh there you are! I brought you some of Kendall's clothes, if you want to change before dinner."

"Okay... thanks..." I said shyly, taking the clothes.

"Okay, I am going to head downstairs and work a little bit before dinner, do you need anything? Some water maybe?" She offered kindly.

I shook my head. "No, I think I'm good. Thank you."

She smiled at me once more and walked away back downstairs.

I was left alone in this strange, but beautiful, bedroom. I walked to the gorgeous red queen sized bed and laid on my back.

All the sudden I saw a figure pass the door. They looked in and kept going, but when they realized I was siting in the bed they backed up and stared at me confused.
