Turns out I'd been frozen for decades. It's now the 21st Century and the technology is incredible.

Bucky's old friend Rogers is still alive too and with a group called The Avengers, and he's Captain America. I'm hoping if I can get to him he'll be able to help me find Bucky, if he's still alive. God I hope he's still alive.

I made my way through the city and looked for any sign of either Bucky or Rogers. I didn't have to wait that long before I spotted Rogers crossing the street.

"ROGERS!"
I shouted towards him and he stopped in his tracks. He turned his head to look at me and he looked like he'd seen a ghost. I couldn't blame him.

I quickly made my way over to him.
"Cass? Is that you? Really you?"
He asked as I got closer.

"Yep! It's been a long time hasn't it?"

He smiled and pulled me into a hug, he's a lot stronger than I remember.
"How is this possible? I mean it's great but how?"

"Hydra."
I replied simply and sighed as he let me go.

"Figures. They didn't do a number on your head too did they?"

"No. Wait, me too? What do you mean?"

"Bucky is alive too, but Hydra messed up his memories."

"Please take me to see him! I have to see him!"

Rogers laughed a little.
"Okay Cass, he's going to be so happy to see you."

....

"Who's the kid?"
Tony asked as we walked into the Avengers compound.

"This is Bucky's sister, Cassandra."
As those words left Caps' mouth there was a smash. I turned my head to follow the sound and it came from the kitchen, right where Bucky stood.

"Cass!"

"Bucky!"

We shouted and ran to each other. He picked me up into a tight hug, as if he could lose me any second.
"I thought you were dead, I never thought I'd see you again."
I could hear the emotion in his words.

"You know me Buck, takes more than a few Hydra to take me out."
I laughed slightly and he responded in kind.

After a few moments he broke the hug.
"How are you still alive though? When they took you off I was sure they'd kill you."

"They experimented on me then froze me. I only woke up a few days ago, the alarms were blaring and my cryo unit was the only one still viable."

"You always did have the best luck out of us all."

"Oh right! I forgot to mention, the experiments weren't all bad. I got an awesome power out of it!"
Everyone turned to look at me, their faces turning from happiness to worry and caution. All except Bucky that is.

"What sort of power?"
Rogers asked.

"You're not going to turn into a crazed maniac are you?"
Tony asked.

"What? No. They didn't touch my memories. In fact I remember them saying they couldn't."

"Why wou-"
Rogers was cut off by the sound of another voice.

"Look who we found skulking about the compound."
A female voice appeared from behind us.

As we all looked over there was two women escorting a tall guy with black hair.

"Who's the new girl?"
The woman in black asked.

"Wanda, Nat, this is Cassandra. Bucky's little sister."
Rogers replied.

"Bucky's sister appears out of the blue at the same time Loki finds and starts skulking about the compound? That's coincidental."
Nat responded in a very accusatory tone.

"Nat-"
Bucky was cut off.

"No Bucky she's right. As much as I hate to admit it we have no idea what Hydra did to Cass. I'm sorry but she's going to have to be put under surveillance alongside Loki."

"What the hell Steve? You've known me for years!"

"I'm sorry Cass, but we have to be sure."

Everyone's face was serious while Bucky looked upset and Loki had a smirk across his face.

....

Bucky and Steve led Loki and I down to what I assume is their version of a cell, it was one big cell and they put both of us in it. It didn't have bars like a normal cell, it was just complete glass. Except I doubted it would be as brittle as normal glass.

After they left I sat down on the floor, rested my head against the wall and sighed.

"Seems like I interrupted what was probably a very touching sibling reunion."
Loki said this with a snark tone and a small smirk on his face.

"Who even are you? You must be pretty bad if they instantly didn't trust you."

"I'm Loki, the god of Mischief."
He smiled and rested his back against the wall opposite me.

"God of Mischief? Is that supposed to be a joke?"

"I'd be more than happy to present you with a little show, if you in turn show me what you can do."
Almost everything he said to me was followed with a smirk, and a look in his eyes I couldn't quite pinpoint.

"And why would I do that?"

"Life as an Avenger's captive can tend to get pretty boring you know. It'll liven up our time here together!"

"Loki! What foul plan have you concocted now?"
A booming voice came from outside the cell.

"My brother, the God of Thunder."
Loki was still smirking while looking at me, but I could hear the slight annoyance in his voice.
"I haven't concocted anything Thor, it was just mere coincidence."

"I find that hard to believe Loki, there's always something foul when you get involved."

"You wound me brother! Do you really think so low of me?"
Loki's tone had now changed to one of sarcasm and amusement, while Thor just squinted.

"What do you want Loki?"

"I simply want little Cassandra here to show us what she's made of. She did say awesome power after all."
He cheekily grinned and I rolled my eyes.

"You have powers?"
Thor asked and I just nodded in response.
"What are they?"

"I'm not answering or doing anything until I can see my brother."
I replied.

"How do I know this isn't just some trick to get you and Loki out of this cell?"

I squinted at Thor, anger slowly bubbling.
"I've been frozen for decades and decided to come looking for my brother. If I was so content on using my powers on his friends I would have had no issue using them when I was told I need to earn their trust, and sit in a cell with a man I've never met before waiting for them to decide to come and speak to me."
Anger was still bubbling, causing me to start to see the wavy lines I see when I focus my eyes.
"So rather than sitting here talking and throwing accusations about go and get me my brother."

While I was staring at Thor I could see Loki grinning out of the corner of my eye.
"Ooo I like her."

"Be quiet Loki."
Thor said.
"I shall go and retrieve Bucky."

"Good."

Thor promptly left, but I doubt they'll send my brother down that easily. Or at least not without an escort.

"You know, when you get angry your eyes start to change a bit."

I turned to look at him, still mad and seeing the waves, and I couldn't quite read his expression.
"Oh? Is that not acceptable? Mr God of Mischief."
I mocked before looking away and sighing, trying to calm and let the anger go away.

I heard a chuckle in response.
"Not at all Darling, rather interesting actually."

I rolled my eyes and waited for them to return with my brother.
