A few more days had passed and there still wasn't a change in Loki.
I was now fully convinced that what happened was him being a complete ass, and I was fine with that. He's not the first guy who's tried to play me, and I doubt he'd be the last.
Today Nat, Wanda and I were having a woman's day out. There's only so much testosterone women can handle. Especially since Loki and Thor seem to be arguing almost on a daily basis now.
It's almost like Loki is intentionally baiting him out, so an argument ensues because when it goes on long enough a lot of people get involved.
"This is one of my favourite places to eat!"
Wanda exclaimed as she led us to a small shop with an outdoor sitting area.
"They do the best sandwiches you ever did taste.""I'll hold you to that."
I grinned as we made our way to the queue.People were getting served quite quickly, so that made me happy. It didn't take long for us to order and I decided to go simple with a ham n cheese sandwich and a cup of tea.
We sat in the outside seating area as it was quite nice out. I'd decided to wear a simple pair of black skinny jeans and a red tank top with converse, but tied a hoodie around my waist in case it got cold. I thought the outfit matched me, at least Nat and Wanda agreed. My eyes were blue and my hair was fairly straight, medium length and light brow and my skin was fairly pale. It's often hard for me to find clothes I like, let alone compliment me.
I tucked into my sandwich and it was delicious.
It was also nice spending time in the fresh air with other girls. Bucky barely likes letting me leave but since I had company he was fine with it. I think he's scared of losing me again. He's changed a bit since we last ever saw each other, but I don't think he's changed in a bad way.
"Don't look now but it looks like someone likes you."
Nat indicated to a few tables over where a guy was looking over at us."No, it's probably towards one of you two."
"No Nat's right, he's looking at you."
I shook my head.
"Not my type.""Do you even know your type?"
Nat asked.
"Men these days aren't exactly the same as the ones you know."I shrugged.
"I guess I'm just not interested right now.""If you say so."
Nat sighed and continued drinking her coffee.....
We got back to the compound and my legs ached from all the walking we did. They insisted on showing me around the city. I appreciated it, but I was knackered.
I went to the couch and just flopped.
"Rough day?"
Bucky asked and sat next to me."I had no idea how tiring it was to just walk!"
I sat up and looked at him, and noticed Loki walking towards his room.
Maybe I could have some fun with him?
"I swear, Nat is trying to set me up with anyone she sees. I lost count of the amount of guys she pointed out."Loki froze just before getting to the door. He looked back and I saw what appeared to be an abnormally angry scowl on his face, even for Loki.
I snidely used my power to hear if he was saying anything, but all I heard was a "tsk" before he went into his room and shut the door with a slam.
Bingo. Revenge!
"I'm sure Nat is just trying to be helpful, Steve will randomly do the same for me."
Bucky smiled.I leaned back on the couch and sighed.
"Yeah, I'm just not interested. If I remember rightly most men tend to be boring."Plus what I was interested in now was if I could play with Loki.
Let's see how mischievous the God of Mischief really is, shall we?
