Ray: "Hey, Estel, that's really strange!"

Ray's voice echoed down the road.

Estel: "Its not strange. You're the one who's strange."

Estel returned Ray's words with a unruffled air.

Ray: "Im normal."

Estel: "You're the only one who thinks so."

Ray: "What did you say!?"

Estel: "What?"

Sara: "Are you two going to fight all the way home?"

As they started bickering again, I took a deep breath. At my side, Ethan chuckled with an amused expression on his face.

Ethan: "Those two never change, do they?"

Sara: "They'll be fighting to the end."

Ethan: "But you wouldnt want them to be any other way."

Sara: "Haha, that's true..."

As we shared a laugh, Ethan suddenly took my hand in his.

Sara: "Ethan...?"

Ethan: "I guess this really is the end."

Sara: "...Yes."

Ethan: "After this, everything will return to normal. If that happens, you will forget all about me..."

Sara: "I could never forget you! Or Ray or Estel."

Ethan: "Sara..."

Sara: "I believe those words you spoke that night after the battle. That we would be together forever..."

Ethan: "But the worlds we come from are too far apart. There's no way we can ever really be together..."

Sara: "That's..."

I stopped speaking as Ray and Estel drew near.

Ray: "Holding hands in broad daylight, humm? You two must really be getting along well."

Ethan: "Oh! No, I mean, this is..."

Ray: "Are you claiming her as your own?"

Estel: "Hmmm, that's pretty confident of you."

Ethan: "That's not what this means. I mean..."

Estel: "But I dont want to give Sara to Ethan."

Ethan: "What! I dont own her!"

As Ethan spoke up, Ray and Estel exchanged glances. And then chuckled evilly.

Ethan: "Get out of here, you jerks!"
