THE COP AND THE REDNECK (A Shane Walsh and Daryl Dixon love story)

Chapter 12

                                                                       

                                                                Kiera's POV 

We gather around in the cell block for breakfast with Shane holding the baby.  "Here I'll hold her while you eat I’m done."  I say to him but he shakes his head no.  "Shane you stayed up all night with her last night and didn't get no sleep.  Let me take care of her while you go get some sleep."  I tell him while reaching for the baby but he just stands up and starts walking to the other side of the room.

 "You wanna go on a run with me, Glenn, and Maggie to get a few things?"  Sage asks me.  "Yeah I could use some time away from here." I say looking at Shane.  "Well then let’s go."  Sage says dragging me to the vehicles and I see Shane looking at me.  "Kiera wait a minute!" I hear Shane yell from behind me without the baby.  "Where are you going?" He asks catching up to me.  Sage, Maggie, and Glenn look at me and I tell them to go on that I will be at the vehicle in a minute.  "What does it matter to you?"  I say in a pissed off voice.  "Just tell me."  He demands.  "I'm going on a run with my sister, Glenn, and Maggie happy?"  I reply back.   "What is your problem?"  He asks raising his voice.  "You!  You are my problem!  I was perfectly fine by myself before you came along and made me fall for you!   You're a complete asshole most of the time to everyone even if they offer to help you!  Just because you may be the baby's daddy doesn't mean that you should ignore your girlfriend who was trying to help your sorry ass with your possible daughter!"  I say screaming and breaking down into tears.  "Then maybe we shouldn't be together then."  He says looking at me.  "May be we shouldn't."  I say pulling off his necklace and pushing it to his chest.

I take off running to the vehicle still crying.  I got to the car and got in and Sage looked at me and asked "Are you okay?"   "Shane and I just broke up." I tell her and she puts her arms around my shoulders and hugs me.  We stay like that for a moment then I gather myself together and tell Glenn to start driving.  "Yes ma’am."  He says.  

                                                    Michonne's POV 

I exited out of Woodbury right before sun rise to get out of this miserable place.    I walk until I find a tree that I could keep my belongings in.  I knew The Governor would send someone out looking for me probably Merle.  I sat down beside the tree for a while then I walk quietly to the place they first found Andrea and I at.  There was a walker in the clearing so I decided to send the people who come looking for me a message.   I put my katana in its head and cut its legs and arms off its body then got the arms and put them in the shape of a G and the legs in and O and flipped its upper body to where the back was facing up.  The message said "Go back".  I heard people coming so I hid in the woods to where they couldn't see me.

 "Michonne come out come out where ever you are." I heard Merle taunt.  I climb up into a tree and go to the fifth branch and take position to jump out of it.  I make sure my katana is over my shoulder ready to use then I take a deep breath and jump down.  All four men The Governor sent out jumped back and turned around.  I swung my sword at the base of the closest guy’s neck and chopped it off then stabbed the second closest in the heart.  I take off running with Merle firing shots at me and as I was running a bullet hit me on my outer thigh but, I continue running too the tree that my belongings were in  as Merle chases after me but finally turns around.  

I get to the tree and grab the bags and start limping away but get stopped by a bunch of walkers.  I pull my katana out ready to kill them but they walk right past me and I start wondering why they didn't attack but, I then remembered that I was covered in walker blood and guts.
