Chapter 5

Kiera's POV

I woke up to Dale telling me to get Shane up that there's an emergency meeting. I nod and get to work trying to get Shane up. "Hey get up." I say in a grumpy voice I'm defiantly not a morning person. He just rolled over and tried to hit me like you would am alarm clock. After a few more unsuccessful attempts of waking him up I do the only thing I could think of that would get him up. " If you wake up you'll get a very good reward tonight." I say in a low seductive voice in his ear. He jumps up and I just realized he was only in his boxer shorts and I start to blush

"You'll be seeing a lot more than this tonight." He smirks.

"I won't be seeing any of that tonight because your not getting anything Mister, I just said that to get you up Dale said there was an emergency meeting."

He just stares at me in bewilderment. "Well since you got me up for nothing can I at least have a decent kiss from you?" He asks. I nod and not a second later I felt his lips on mine. I felt him lift me up off the ground and pull me tighter against him until we couldn't get no closer which caused me to wrap my legs around his waist. He groaned against my mouth which caused me to tighten my grip around his neck.

"Guys really at 1 o'clock y'all decide to bang each other?" I heard Daryl say and Sage start laughing. We pull apart but I keep my legs and arms wrapped around Shane, I hide my face in the crook of Shane's neck while Sage and Daryl kept making comments.

"Okay guys that's enough I don't think Kiera's face can handle much more redness or it might explode. We will be out in a second just wait for us outside the tent."Shane says looking down at my face since I peeled myself off of him.

We got dressed and walked to the fire that was in the center since the tents was circling it. We grabbed a plate and some food then sat down then Glenn cleared his throat "Guys so there's walkers in the barn." He said all the conversations that was going on stopped and we all looked at Glenn like he was crazy.

We drop all the plates and go to the barn. Shane goes up to the doors and looks in.

Shane's POV

I lean in closer to the door to see if I could see better but came eye to eye with a walker. I walked back to the group "You can't tell me your going to allow this!" I scream at Rick pacing.

"What am I going to do about it uh?" He replies looking at the barn doors.

The whole group starts asking questions about what we are going to do "We got to go in there and tell Hershel that these people aren't sick their monsters waiting to kill one of us!" I loudly repeat over and over again to Rick.

"We have to kill them Rick!". I say in complete seriousness staring straight at him.

"We can't kill them Hershel won't allow it. I won't allow it." Rick says.

"So your just going to let walkers stay here where Lori and Carl sleep?" I question.

"We can't kill them Shane! This is Hershel's barn, Hershel's walkers, Hershel's land!" We can't do anything about it so get the stupid idea out of your damn head!" Rick screams in my face.

I feel someone tugging on my arm and raise my hand to smack whoever was pulling on my arm in the face. "If you hit me your ass will be grass." Kiera says looking at me sternly.

"I'm sorry I didn't realize it was you." I say putting my arms around her.

"You need to calm down we don't have to deal with this situation right now."
