THE COP AND THE REDNECK (A Shane Walsh and Daryl Dixon love story)

Chapter 13

Shane's POV
"Kiera whatever your middle and last name is don't walk away from me." I say walking after her.

"Kiera please stop walking and let's talk about this." I added.

"What is there to talk about Shane? Im pregnant there's nothing we can do about it." She replied walking out of the prison and heading towards the pile of walkers leaning on the fence.

"Are we going to try to work this between us because you know no matter what I'm going to be there for you and this baby." I say to her.

"You got the other baby to worry about I'll take care of this one by myself." She says pulling her knife out and starting to stab the walkers in the head.

"Hey take it easy." I tell her taking her knife away from her.

"Why In the hell did you just do that for?" She asks putting her hands on her hips.

"Because you're being stubborn and not listening to me. you got to remember it's not just you anymore." I say putting my hands on her belly and she pulls my hands off.

Kiera's POV
I pull his hands off of my stomach and intertwined our hands together and brought his hands up between my shoulder and cheek. "No I can't do this I'm not ready." I said to myself and pushed his hands away. "I've got to go find Sage and see how Daryl took the news." I say.

"Can we go somewhere and talk later than or at least how we are going to tell the group you're pregnant." He asked.

"Yea I guess." I say.

"Sage wait up." I say running up to her.

"Oh hey. How did Shane take the news?" She asked.

"He started acting all protective saying I can't do this and that. How did Daryl take it?" I asked.

"He was actually really excited about it. I mean I've never seen him so happy for the time I've know him." She says.

"Daryl is already really good with the other baby so you know he's going to be an awesome dad." I say back to her.

"Shane will be too you know. He maybe a dick face but he won't let anything happen to you or that baby.". She says to me.

"I know but he wants to get back together and I don't know if I'm ready to or not. I mean I still love him but nothing will be the same again now with the baby and I feel like I'm putting more pressure on Rick and the group." I say.

Sage starts to reply but we get interrupted by Carl. "Dad has something important to tell all of us." He says and we follow him to cell block C.

We walk and the first thing I see is Shane and the baby and he turns and smiles at me. I walk over and take the baby from him. "You look good with a baby in your arms." Shane whispered and kissed my cheek and I immediately stiffen up.

"Guys this is Michonne she saw what happened to Glenn and Maggie and she followed Kiera and Sage here." Rick said pointing to a limping woman behind him.

"Do you remember anyone following us?" Sage asked from behind me.

"No but then again I don't remember ever looking back at all." I say to her.

Hershel takes Michonne to one of the cells and gets her patched up and let's her rest and I go to Rick and hand him the baby. "Thank you for taking such good care of my little girl I really appreciate it." Rick says to me look up from his daughters face.

"Rick Sage and I are pregnant. I just thought you should know, We haven't told anyone but the fathers. We plan on telling the group soon." I say. We continued talking for a few more minutes then I decide it's time to go talk to Shane.

I walk to where he was sitting and grab the back of his shirt and dragged him outside. "Listen I want to get back together and I want to raise this baby the best way possible during the damn freaking zombie apocalypse but we're going to take this slow and my way. So number one rule no telling me what I'm going to do and not to do. Rule number two no tell" I started but get interrupted.

"Just shut up and kiss me already." Shane says crashing his lips to mine.

I wrap my arms around his neck and he wraps his around my waist and closes the space between us. We make our way to the guard tower to have some us time. The only things that were on my mind were my baby, getting Shane's clothes off, and what was happening to Glenn and Maggie and where were they?
