He closed his book slowly looking over at the table at Rafael who was making an agitated look as his jaw clenched

His pricing gaze made me want to squirm

He leaned back crossing his arms. His well-defined toned arms protrude bigger.

He gave me an intense look over.

"By his deadly gaze, are you sure that's not your boyfriend?"

"Uh...umm...uh"

I was stuck

My brain literally went blank

"What? Cat got your tongue?"

"N...n..no"

I took a deep breath, hoping it would go unnoticeable

"Okay, you know what since you want to be a dick, forget about it," I said starting to walk away

He rolled his eyes leaning back up

"Look sorry, I wasn't trying to be a dick. Look sorry I don't normally do this. So is the friend the one of there staring"

My eyes went wide

"Gosh no, what gave you that idea"

"Well I saw you guys come in together and laugh so I just thought you were an item, and by the way, the hoodie looks better off"

So he was watching us?

"So, Raven with no boyfriend, can I get your phone number? "

"Forward aren't you"

"Sorry, just don't like to beat around the bush"

"No highly appreciate it, the world would be better if everyone was like that"

He leaned closer

A small smile made its way onto my face

He stuck out his hand

I shook his hand without a second thought

I don't know why

I put my number in his phone and then handed it back

"It was nice meeting you raven," he said getting his things and putting them in his bag

"Likewise," I said heading back to my table

When I got back to the table Rafael had a look on his face

It was a look of astonishment but also was it hurt?

"What was that about?" He said crossing his arms

"Well he just asked for my phone number"

"And you gave it to him?"

"Well, he was actually okay. So yeah I did"

I shouldn't feel guilty but somehow I did
