Whats the involvment?

When I woke up I was on the couch alone. Rubbing my eyes adjusting to the bright warm light that came through the window.

Rufus made a whimpering sound next to me

I rubbed his head

Did they always keep it cold in here

I rubbed my arms looking around, finding the place quite

I walked into the kitchen and looked around for Rafael and David but only to come up empty

What caught my eye was what was falling from the sky

I walked to the window only to find that it was snowing badly

There had to be around four inches already

How long was I out?

I looked at the clock only to see it was around six o'clock

On my phone there was a weather issue alert. I called my mother letting her know that I was okay and left it at that

I didn't want to invade Rafael's privacy by looking around this place

I text him asking where he was

He said he and David had to head out and that they will be back

But why would he leave in the middle of  a snowstorm

I went back to the couch cleaning up our papers

I sat down on the couch and grabbed the blanket, snuggling with it on the couch

My mind drifted off to my dream

I didn't understand it

"Look all I'm saying is that you could have taken it if you wanted to"

I headed David's voice drift in from the front door

Their back

"Sometimes  you don't always have to kill it"

Rafael and David walked into the living room

"Oh hey raven, your up," Rafael said

"Um yeah I just woke up"

"You were knocked out," David said laughing as he sat down on the chair

I could've died at that moment

The red that crept up from my neck going to my checks was embarrassing

"Don't listen to him. He's just being stupid" Rafael said taking a seat next to me

He looked at David giving him a look

The room went quiet

"Really dude"

"Yes"

"Okay okay I'm leaving, I can tell when I am not wanted"

He got up and left but not before he winked at me

"Hey sorry about earlier, I didn't think I was so tired"

"Raven it's no problem really," he said as he ran his hands through his hair

"So is it bad out there?"

Rafael looked at the window

"It's okay"

I noticed that he and David were dressed lightly in jeans and T-shirts. Considering the weather out there they were dressed way to lightly
