Part 13

Sana's POV

Sidharth has gone for his important meeting. It's been just a day couldn't talk to him. And I'm feeling so deserted already.

Didn't realise when he became a part of my daily routine.

Now who's going to listen what I did the whole day?

Okay, just two more days.

I enter Vikas's cabin. He's pacing around. Exasperated.
"Kya hua Vikas?"

"Batra's and Edific's have filed a case against us..." he says.

"Kya? Lekin Kyuu?"

"They claim that we faked those designs.. We've stolen them..."

"Arey... How can they say that!? Humne mehnat karke khud banaye itne layout.."
I am shocked.

"They've got some stupid anonymous proofs.." Jay joined him.

"But these are our manuals.. We've made them Jay.. Aise kaise koi bhi humpe ilzaam laga sakta hai.. " I argued.

Jay told me that early morning Batra's had contacted Vikas to let him know that they are no more keeping this project with us. Because another builder's company named- Edificio stated that all those designs in this course belong to them.

"Aisa kya proof hai unke pas.. Jo inhone ekdum se kaam hi band karva diya..!"

Stopping a construction half its way costs huge. It was supposed to be one of our favoring project. But now it turns out to be a detrimental one.

"They have attested that these designs were stolen from them.. Yahi same jo humne banaye.. Unke pas hai.." Jay told me.

"... Actually they stole our outlines.. Prototypes.. And claim it to be there's.." Vikas said.

"To abhi hum kya kare..?" I ask them.

The time and money we have spent on this is immense. We worked so hard. Especially on those designs.

"Cyber agency se ek expert ko bulaya hai.. Vo hamare system se chori hui thi bata sakta hai.." Jay said.

"Ha ye sahi hai.. Vo humara proof banega.. Ke humne koi chori nahi ki.." I sigh.

I look at Vikas, he is so tensed. About all this. Though we haven't done anything wrong. But such things are tend to offend one's reputation. This company is in the name of his mother.

All of this means alot to him.
He is sitting on his chair, constantly tapping his fingers on the table. Staring at the wall clock.

"Vikas.. " I pat his shoulder.

"Hm" he turned to me.

"Abhi vo banda aajayega.. To ye sab kaise hua pata chal jayega.." I said.
He nods.

Everybody was sitting in the conference room. By everybody I mean only the essentials. Rohan, Aliya, ManojJi, Jay, Jay's assistant, Me and Vikas.

The tech guy arrived, started working on Vikas's PC immediately.

"It was hacked.." he said.

"I knew it!" Jay murmured gritting his teeth.

"Go ahead.." Vikas asked the guy to elaborate further.

"Sir.. Aapke system se ek of file ki copy... kisi ne undesignated portal se nikal li.. Do din pehle.. " he revealed.

"2 din!" Vikas exclaimed.

"Kisne kiya ye dekho.. " he asked that guy.

"Sir.. Uske liye authority ki permission chahiye.. " the tech guy said.
