SHEHNAAZ'S POV

Was getting ready for mehendi and Dholki sangeet. In a ivory green blouse paired with a long skirt. Hairs opened and pendent like blue studs hanging loose on my ears.

"Sidharth? Sunna zaraa..." I called him into the wardrobe.

"Han?" there he came, in a bottle green kurta, looking dapper!

"Yeh dori bandh de yaar! Mere hath nahi jaa rahe.." I whined at the backless blouse I wore was beautiful af but made me struggle after it's strings.

"Kon bola itna deep pehenne ko?" he asked. Was it too revealing? Did he not like it? But it was looking pretty amazing on the model in it's catalogue.

"Achi nahi lag rahi mai?" I asked. He ties those two strings into a butterfly knot and turns me to face him.

"Kuch zyada hi achi lag rahi hai.." he speaks coming close to my face. "If you know what I mean.. I'm loosing it.." he rests his head near my neck while his hands travelled my back, all the way down till bottoms and he suddenly crushes me between the wall and his hulk frame. Having an urgent desire to kiss him, I pulled his face to me, tasting him right away.

"It's been five days I haven't done you.." he whispers erupting the goosebumps out of me.

Yeah, I cannot stop myself either now. My hands in no time unbuttoned his pants while undid my skirt. Making a short but steamy love right then and there. With my legs tucking around his torso to make it possible for me to hang in air till we were done.

"My makeup! Abhi fir karna padega.. All because of you.. " I blamed him, while sweeping off the sweat from my face and neck.

"As if I'm not late.. Mujhe bhi abhi tak neeche hona chahiye tha..!" he replied.

"Jaa fir jaldi.. " I said.

"Abhi kaam hogaya toh bhaga rahi hai.. How mean!" he pouts.

"Chal chal! Aya bada.." I pushed him out literally.

The artist began to draw circles on my right palm while my aunts sat in circle infront. Began with the Dholki, singing Punjabi folklores, marking the beginning of Sangeet.

"Phullan di bahaar, raati aayo na…
Shaava raati aayo na..
Ni ik mera raanjan aaya – Shaava..
Dil da Chaanan aaya – Shaava..
Dil vich masti chaayi – Shaava..
Khid khid hasdi aayi – Shaava..
Sun niye meriye maave – Shaava..
Mera dil kabraave – Shaava..
Laal Gopal na aave – Shaava.."

This song was to jokingly tease the bride about how her life will be post-marriage, when she is waiting for her husband.

"Sana.. Tera khasam tere se kitna pyaar karta hai.. Ye mehendi ka rang batayega.." one of them stated while others giggled. I don't need the colour, he loves me and he just proved it around 30 minutes ago. But I can't tell them that so I simply smile to the fullest. Can't help but everytime he passes by, I happen to blush. Maybe there's a constant mention of him in the discussion. They began with there Bolis soon. Shefali was going gidda on it.

"Ajaa Sana!" she calls me. I showed her my freshly decorated palms, can't join it meant. They spared me for sometime, everybody was enjoying this musical event, even Neetu learnt the hook step of Gidda. But soon the folklores were replaced with movie songs, my friends dancing to the Punjabi beats. I couldn't hold back then, grooving into it and I was killing it.

"Hauli hauli gidde vich nach patlo ni
Tera lakk na maroda kha javey.. " my favourite song it is!

"Jiju join us nah!" Shefali went to call Sidharth, he denied as usual.
