PREETI'S POV

"Hasan bhai.." I've heard it somewhere ? A tall dark guy in black. Sana and me were silent and terrorized with their presence. He said, he was one of Sid's friend but I've never seen him before. Which friend was he? We went back to the street were the two were fighting brutally. Cussing each other to no end. Sid even tried confronting DJ, but that insane guy, he was deranged. We were on the other end of the street in the dark.

The Hasan guy said, "Aap log andar raho.. Mai dekhta hu.." also asked his man to stay with us and got out of the car, when his boss came, a middle aged bald man, they called him Dada. Couldn't see his face properly though, but I was freezed as DJ pointed a gun at Sid, and then Sana ran out at the same time.

The bodyguard guy and I tried to stop her but she had reached at the spot already and DJ had aimed at them.

"O God! Please roko usko.. Mera bhai! Aur voh toh bachi hai.." I asked him to let me go too.

"Dada aa gaye hai.. Voh dekhlenge.. Baithe raho.." he sternly ordered and locked the doors inside. He was definitely not any normal guy and they the way they were talking to Sid, they knew him.

My eyes were glued to them, Dada pulled out a gun from his back and shot loud DJ on his head. Blood drops spritzed in the air like anything and his now lifeless body fell down against the ground. His forehead lying in two parts, as blood made its way out, flowing like water on the street.

But nobody cared to pick him up, instead that Dada asked Sid, to take Sana back home and he'll get this mess cleared. When that guy turned, I saw his full face for the first time.

Raghunath? I had seen his face in the newspaper, he was a freaking gangster! He imports guns and drugs illegally! How did my brother get in contact with him? What not has been going on behind my back? Yes, I've noticed Sid stressed at times, I always came to make him talk it out to me, but he never did these days.

"Preeti? Aap theek ho?" Sana asked, we were back in his car, on our way to home.

Sidharth wasn't even looking at me. Because he had guessed of how many questions he had to answer me. I kept staring him. He had learned to lie and keep things from me? I was always by his side, even before he could call, I had made sure to be there for him. What was so difficult and wrong on earth that he could not share it with me? We are siblings for God's sake, aren't we? From the grudges with business rivals to his first fight with Sana.. He used to share it with me and whenever he was down, I made sure I was with him. So what went wrong now? I was hurt and deeply dissapointed with him.

"Where were you guys? Pata hai hum kitne pareshaan the..!" Ajay opened the door. Probably Mom had called him, he was ranting but his words halted the moment he saw us. Sid's nose and lips had dried stains of blood, his arms around me and Sana, as we carried him in. Not to forget, Mom was there too, noticing how feebly he limped.

With watery eyes Mom brought a first aid kit and began with the cleaning. "Batao bhi kya hua..?" Ajay asked.

"Jeez... Voh nah jab hum market gaye the.. " Sana narrated the entire episode carefully not mentioning the last firing part, by the end Mom was left aghast.

"Police ko kyu nahi bulaya.. And who helped you guys..? And where's Jayker now?" Ajay asked.

"Sid batayega.." I eyed him. His silence was irksome, I wanted answers!

"I request you guys to calmly listen to me first.." he spoke finally.

"I.. I.. It was the only way possible to get rid of Jayker.." it was like he was finding words.

"Only way? Really Sidharth Shukla? Tune ek baar bhi socha yeh sab karne se pehle..? How do you know him? And since when?" I shot. He was silent again.
