Lucius walked up the stairs to His son's room, His wife Narcissa was bickering with their young son Draco about packing which wasn't too surprising but Lucius scowled at the scene unfolding in front of him "ENOUGH! Draco go downstairs you can pack later go have breakfast" Draco looked at his dads stern face and silently sulking downstairs. Lucius looked over to Narcissa as he sighed "I'm going to be out late tonight I was given a task" Narcissa gave back only a confused glance "what task requires you to be at night?" Lucius shrugged "I was asked to ensure that Voldemort got his final Horcrux, he plans to use a girl, Darcy...You know that asshat Adam? his daughter and I was asked to go in case Adam fails his task" Lucius explained but this made Narcissa scowled at her Husband "YOU INCOMPETENT IDIOT! you are willing to let him use her?! she is only a girl!" she hissed loud enough for only Lucius to hear just to be replied with "why do you care Narcissa? he promised a better position and it's not like you care about the girl you don't even know her" Lucius saw his wife's reaction turn to one of anger "you want me to allow someone's child to be used like that?! if it's so safe then why don't you go volunteer Draco or is it only because it's not your child you don't care?!!" Narcissa may be a Pure-blood but she was a mother herself and she couldn't stand the thought of someone's child be used like that. Lucius gave Narcissa a hushed daring whisper "if you care that much about her go save her just don't be there when I get there because I can't protect you if Voldemort catches you stealing his property" but Narcissa was having none of this and spat back "that girl is not anyone's property!!!".
With that Narcissa walked downstairs leaving a sulking Draco to finish his breakfast as she walked to the Lavander residence she wasn't going to let this plan be executed, she couldn't help but think 'God this is torture why can't I teleport? it would make this so much easier and it would be easier to save that child' it had become Nightfall by the time Narcissa started walking up the path that leads to the Lavender's front porch as she pounded on the wooden door hoping that nobody had visited the house yet then a slim blonde woman answered the door, without even a word or even waiting for the woman to open the door fully Narcissa barged past Emily "oh Emily how nice to see you". You see the two women didn't particularly like each other but Narcissa was willing to drop her pride for the sake of a child as she was
a parent herself so didn't want any child to get hurt and hell if it were her in this situation she would have wanted someone to help her so she was willing to drop her pride to help Emily and prevent this plan from happening.
Emily had no clue why this woman was even here as they didn't exactly have a great friendship so she spat out "Narcissa what are you doing here?" Narcissa only could be serious as she hushed "Voldemort has been placing parts of his soul into Horcruxes and he wanted to use Harry but it didn't work cause of Lily's spell of Sacrificial Protection so Adam suggested and is allowing Voldemort to use YOUR daughter" Emily Looked at Narcissa Horrified "When is this meant to happen?" she asked worriedly "Tonight" Narcissa replied quickly. Emily knew she had no time to flea with Darcy so Emily called "Darcy pack your stuff NOW!!" Narcissa even ran upstairs to help the young girl pack her things Darcy gave her a confused expression but then ran downstairs with her bags as Emily hugged her tightly whispering softly "You're going to Narcissa's house for the night okay? she will take you to the train station tomorrow I have some errands to run tonight, do you have everything?
wand, Robes, Clothes?" Darcy chuckled thinking of this as normal mom panic and stress "Mom I have everything I could possibly need but I'll see you tomorrow at the train station right?" the small blonde girl asked unaware of what was even going on around her.
Emily just smiled softly as the small girl in her embrace "promise just go make sure you have everything though alright? when you go to Hogwarts you won't be home for a while darling" Being at the station tomorrow was a promise Emily figured she might not be able to keep. Darcy nodded happily and went back upstairs to continue confusing, quickly and excitedly pack the rest of her things. As Narcissa headed out the side door of the house so she wouldn't be seen in the house if anything were to happen while Emily waited impatiently downstairs for her daughter but then someone unexpectedly opened the front door and Emily knew exactly who it was "Adam is that you?!" the blonde woman yelled as Adam slammed the front door shut "yeah it's me, the Dark Lord is visiting tonight to assure a task is done correctly so can you at least act like you respect me?" Adam scowled at his wife, walking past the woman in the direction of the stairs as if he were going to check on his daughter but something
stopped him as he walked back over to his wife and faced her just when he did that Emily saw her daughter coming downstairs and knowing her daughter wouldn't get out of the house if Adam saw her.
She knew she had to distract him so she yelled "No I won't respect you! all you are his is lackey you can't even act like you have some dignity" watching the young girl from over her husband's shoulder she discreetly gestured for her daughter to go out the side door, Darcy who was hearing her parents argument didn't ask questions and followed her mum's gesture to the side door quickly but quietly going outside to Narcissa who had been waiting for the young girl "Do you have everything and ready to go?" Narcissa asked gently as Darcy nodded, the young girl trusted her mother which is why she was doing what she was told
as she followed Narcissa who led Darcy to the back of the Malfoy Manor pressing a slim finger to her lips, gesturing for Darcy to be quiet as they crept upstairs since it was late at night and she didn't want to risk making any noise in case her husband and some Death Eater's returned to the Manor. She wasn't worried about Lucius as she knew he wasn't going to harm the girl but she was worried if anyone else came back with her husband since who knew what the other Death Eater's would do if they knew the prestigious Malfoy Family went behind Voldemort's back and took the girl he wanted.
