Chapter 2: Our Leader's Orders

This was out of the ordinary, The Dark Lord himself had called all the Death Eater's to gather at my manor this early in the morning to discuss a scheme he had. Lucius Malfoy was sitting in his chair at the table sitting dead straight waiting in anticipation about what this plan could have been about, as it was the day before all the children of age were getting ready to go and start their adventure at Hogwarts which kept the parents on their feet and took up much of their to make sure the children were prepared so he was curious about why Voldemort wanted to have a meeting now.

Many other Death Eater's soon began to spill into the room filling in the remaining chairs many faces sat around him, Snape seating next to the platinum blonde male and Voldemort's right-hand man Adam sat near the head of the table acting cockier than ever before, but when the Lord himself walked in Lucius could instantly see that Voldemort looked weakened just by the way he walked into the room which meant whatever this plan is wasn't going to end well and go less than perfect. The Lord came to the head of the table his raspy voice began to echo in the room as he began his speech "Today is the beginning of a new chapter for our kind. Death, Darkness and misery lack in our midsts, as many have observed I have become weakened" the word weakened came out as a hiss out of the Dark Lord's mouth this piqued Lucius's interest but always made him feel uneasy.

"The reason why I have become so weak is because I wished to live forever or at least long enough to see darkness prevail, perfection is necessary for this to happen so I have placed parts of my soul into 6 objects these are Horcruxes it has rendered me this" The Dark Lord spoke as he dropped the hood of his robe exposing his pale features lacking one noticeable feature...his nose. Lucius was concerned but continued to sit and listen in silent horror, Voldemort continued "I have successfully completed making 6 Horcruxes, I wish for these to never be able to face dangers so I have hidden them but I need one more... Adam and I have come up with an idea we will hide the last Horcrux in plain sight, in a child, no one would dare to attack" This made Lucius squirm in his seat uncomfortably he didn't want Draco to be this child that was to be the last Horcrux but he also found Adams smirk unsettling as if he knew which child that was going to be used.

At the mention of this plan until he heard the echo of the child's name "DARCY!" Voldemort cackled Adam following in suit the other Death Eaters sitting silently but nervously chuckling along until Voldemort bellowed "ENOUGH!!" the room fell back into silence before he continued speaking with his deranged smirk "meeting adjourned. Lucius, Adam stay behind" Lucius was not in the mood to spend any time with Adam as this man was too cocky for his own good but as asked Lucius stayed behind as Voldemort whispered to Adam before dismissing him and beckoning Lucius to come closer "Lucius I have a task for you" Lucius swallowed the lump in his throat trying to sound confident "yes Dark Lord what is my task?" Voldemort gave him his signature sinister smile, cheerly stating Lucius's tasks.

"you are to come with me tonight, if Adam fails his task I will give you all his power if you help me in succeeding with giving me my final Horcrux" Lucius knew his position as a Death Eater and knew his fate if he refused so he gave a silent nod "I understand My Lord, although I must be off I have to get my son Draco ready to go to Hogwarts tomorrow and there is a lot of packing that should have been done" Lucius spoke he was using this as an excuse to get away from the conversation and the Dark Lord so Voldemort let Lucius leave with a stern nod, he expected this plan to go perfectly.
