I sat next to Dejhari at the park as the kids played around. Everyone was having fun and I was just tired. His mom threw a cookout because of something about a holiday or something so everyone was here.
She insisted that I came and brought Kodi and Laila with me but I had to leave Laila home. She didn't like being around a lot of people. Laila was more of a house dog than a people dog.
She likes to sleep and watch television. She didn't wanna go to dog parks and stuff like that, which I liked about her because I wasn't taking her to no dog parks either.
"Your brother has to bring Maya everywhere?" I asked looking at Dejhari who was smoking with Jammo.
"He feel like he do.." He said.
"Well, I want to fight her again.." I said, he smacked his lips and looked at me.
"I say go for it. Hopefully her brother dont haunt you and shit cause y'know the dead don't play bout they family.." Cruddy said, Jammo mugged him.
"You always saying dumb shit.." He said.
Meena and Treasure walked over to us. "Here.." Treasure said passing me a cup. I grabbed it and sniffed it before looking at them confused.
"Guys.." I said looking at them. "Dejhari's whole family is here. I don't want to get drunk.."
"Girl this is the perfect place to get drunk! Ma told us to bring this to you anyway. She want us to get lit.." Meena said, I looked at Dejhari who wasn't paying attention at all.
"I don't wanna embarrass him.." I said.
"Just ask him if he care.." Treasure said, I looked at Dejhari and touched his face.
"Hm?" He answered looking at me.
"Do you care if I drink?" I asked, he smacked his lips.
"Do you. Ion give no fucks.." He said, I looked at the cup and pushed my lips to the side. I wanted to drink so bad but I knew how I was once I got drunk and I didn't want to embarrass him.
"But what if I embarrass you?" I asked.
"If you wanna drink just drink. I don't care.." He said, I shrugged and started drinking from my cup. It was kind of strong but it was nothing that I couldn't handle. I drink Hennessy straight out of the bottle.
"Damn.." Meena said.
"Slow down Mama.." Treasure said, I pulled the cup away from my mouth and looked at them. They didn't know how much I needed a drink so they wouldn't understand anyway.
"It's really good.." I said.
"Da Baby baby momma can get da dick.." Cruddy said looking at his phone, I shook my head and drunk some more out of my cup. He was another reason why I needed something to drink.
