(I'm so excited to write this story. Ive already started to story boarding and planning what each chapter will be about. I really hope you guys will enjoy it as much as I do writing it)
Anyway, in this Au, everyone sees black and grey until they meet and or kiss their soulmate. Some people never meet their soulmate because sometimes your soulmate is across the world, so they will unfortunately never be able to see color. You are able to be or get with someone who isnt your soulmate, but you won't get the luxury of seeing color.
(Soulmates who are able to meet, and in the case that they have biological offspring, their offspring will be more likely to have a soulmate that's closer [in distance]). *in this case, Reki's parents are not soulmates but Langa's parents were.
*Once you walk into the same room/area/vicinity of your soulmate, you will start feeling unnatural butterflies is your stomach and your heartbeat will rise.
*The first time you see your soulmate, they will have a bright aura around them that's only visible to you, they will stick out like a sore thumb.
*The first time you talk to your soulmate, small details in their face, body, clothing, and belongings will begin showing small tints of color. (Usually it's either their eyes, hair, skin color, or lips when it comes to facial features and body) when it comes to items like clothing and belongings, they are things that have great emotional value to the person.
*The first time you touch your soulmate (hold hands, bump into eachother, poking, really any kind of contact between both persons), natural things you see in your daily life will begin showing small tints of color, (trees, houses, clouds, the sky, cars, grass, flowers), and the facial features/belongings will show their complete color.
*The first time you kiss your soulmate, everything in the world that you are visually able to see will begin showing it's natural color. (The more times you kiss your soulmate, the faster everything will change colors) (Say the soulmates only kiss once, that will take about 1-2 weeks until they're able to see everything in full color.)
*If you for some reason dont want to be with your soulmate, you will not be able to see color ever again. You are not able to be reassigned a soulmate.
