3rd Person Pov:
Langa didn't realize that waking up next to Reki was going to be so much more amazing than he thought it would be. His fluffy red hair was all messed up, his voice, his voice dropped almost an octave lower when he woke up and it almost killed Langa on the spot.
And he looked so grumpy with his furrowed eyebrows but he was so so sweet and said such cute things that made Langa's heart flutter.
His clothes were all bunched up and wrinkled from tossing and turning for awhile. Reki did kick him in his sleep last night a couple times, but he could care less. If anything, he found it super cute.
What's wrong with me? He kicked me in my shin, hard, yet I still think it's cute.
They stayed in bed and cuddled for hours. Unwilling to leave the comfort the blankets offered them and the warmth they shared with each other. They didn't have school, and Nanako had to go work so no one was around to interrupt them.
"Play with my hair, please?" Reki requests nicely into the other boys chest.
"Only because you asked so nicely." Langa chuckles while lifting his hand and running it through Reki's knotted hair and untangling it with his fingers, carefully so he wouldn't hurt him.
Reki traces small patterns on Langa's chest through his shirt with the pads of his fingers gently. It was enough to make a knot form in Langa's chest that he tries his hardest to get rid of, for his own sake. It was going to make him go crazy. Reki was going to make him go crazy.
"What do you want to do today? It's Saturday so we have the whole day." Langa swallows nervously, trying to think of anything but Reki's gentle hands on his chest.
Maybe they could go on that date that Reki talked about the day before? Or maybe they could cuddle all day long (Langa didn't prefer either over the other. He just wished to be with Reki all day).
"Well I was thinking that maybe I could tell my parents today. I know it seems early, but I just want to get it done and over with yknow?" he explains.
Langa nods understandingly.
The truth is, Langa didn't care if Reki told his mom today, tomorrow, or the next. As long as Reki was ready to and felt safe enough to do so, because that's all really Langa cares about now.
"Yeah I understand. If you want to do it today then okay."
"Y-you don't think it's too soon?" Reki hesitates.
"Not really... do you?"
Reki involuntarily stops tracing patterns on Langa's chest and takes a long deep breath in and out through his nose. Was he truly ready? Or did he just want things to be over with.
"I don't know if I am, but I want to do it today."
"Okay.. if that's what you want." Langa agrees.
"It is." he nods slowly. He places his forehead against Langa's beating heart and memorizes the fast rhythm and notices it's a lot similar to his own fast heart beat. It always got like that when they were close. Even when he held Langa's hand when they were practicing skateboarding, the whole time his heart was pounding so hard, desperately needing escape from the small space it was trapped in.
