3rd Person Pov:

There was a boy that Leiko really really liked.

They hadn't spoken before, nor made any kind of contact that lasted longer than a couple minutes, but she admired him in the hallways or whenever she saw him skating at the skate park with his friends. She practically knew all about him while he barely knew she existed.

She never stalked him or anything, but it seemed they always visited the same places and bumped into each other which is why Leiko convinced herself that it was fate. She started getting attached to say the least, she adored his passion for skateboarding and how happy he always looked.

She craved for something that would make her as enthusiastic as he was since she's never felt that way about anything before.

Eventually, her feelings and interest in him started to grow. She told all of her friends how smitten she was by him, and how she was going to ask him out and they would be together forever.

Knowing that Reki probably had no idea who she was, she came up with a plan that would definitely get him to notice her. At this point, she didn't care who she was hurting. She just wanted to feel happy like him.

She came up with a plan that later on destroyed the person she's loved the most.

"Hey, are you okay? I didn't mean to run into you like that."  Leiko lied. She leaned down and picked up the his skateboard and handed it back to him.

"Oh no, it's okay." he waves his hands in front of him.

"No, I should've been paying attention. I could have damaged your skateboard or hurt you on accident." she frowns.

"N-no it's okay, It was an accident, but um I really gotta go or I'll be late for my thing." Reki explains hastily, "It was nice talking to you.."

He hops onto his board and just before he can take off, he feels someone holding him back by his wrist. He hesitantly looks back at her and gets off his board,

"Is something wrong?" his voice growing more agitated.

"No.. I just-" she pauses for a moment thinking, 'Am I really about to do this?'.

"I think you're my soulmate.." she grins happily.

"W-what are you talking about?" Reki takes his hand out of her grasp, feeling very uncomfortable at this point.

'Who the hell is this girl? Is she insane?' he thinks.

"As soon as I bumped into you, I started seeing... yknow." she begins.

"I think you're crazy.." Reki scoffs, "how come I can't see it then?"

"I don't know, but I swear! I've never been able to see color and now I do. Your hair is..." she looks up at him cautiously and tucks a few strands of hair behind his ear.

"I-It looks like the sky. It's a light blue color.." she lies.

~Back to present~

"I can't believe you almost nailed an ollie in one week!" Reki exclaims into his phone, "It took me a month or so to just get the hang of the correct movements. You're really improving Langa."
