The mirror cracked into many pieces right before me. My reflection was distorted and it had red glowing eyes glaring at me. It was being restless and tried to keep the mirror in place.
"Stop it, you know you failed."
"Give...me....my....body....BACK—"
The mirror shattered into pieces as the reflection was speaking. I pointed at him with a grin, "Die......"
"Whoa whoa whoa, that is dramatic enough already, and why do you sound like a villian?"
That was Alexia —my childhood friend for 17 whole years now— sitting right beside me with a vanilla flavoured ice cream in her hand. She was wearing a red beanie and her green jacket was bright during the gloomy autumn and yet she was eating ice-cream....what bravery—
"Hey, it was just a dream so anything is possible y'know"
"So what? at least make it sound as if you are the hero, though it's not possible but still. The name Nova should be in bright letters above your head while u get a sword out slaying monsters."
What did she think I was? A 4th grader? Sometimes I forget that she is a 17 year old lady because of her actions-
"Look, my brain is much more matured than yours. Maybe you should try —I don't know— studying?"
Pointing her spoon at me she said with a frown, "Studying? HA! All YOU know is studying so of course you say that! And logically speaking, how will my brain mature if I study? Not everything's answer is studying you airhead—"
Something sharp just stabbed the Ice-cream, it was a knife. Alexia shrieked and I looked around for the attacker.
"Hey Nova! Why is there a knife on my ice-cream?! It's ruined now! Do somehting 'bout it you moron!"
And here I thought she was scared. She grabbed my jacket and started shaking me back and forth crying because a rusty knife was sitting right on her ice-cream which she is not even supposed to consume during autumn.
"All you care about is your stupid ICE-CREAM?!?! Hey, carefull!! You are gonna spill ice-cream on my jacket! Oi, oi, stop!!"
Ice-cream stained my jacket. Another knife came our way, this time it flew right past my face and stuck to the dust bin right beside the bench we were sitting on. I looked towards the direction from where it came from but it was literally thin air.
As the leaves were falling the two knives gave out a faint glow. They had a weird symbol marked on them —A circle with straight lines forming a quadrant dividing the circle into four equal parts, reminds me of trigonometry but let's not go there—
I stood up looking around while Alexia was crying because her ice-cream was ruined by a rusty knife. The knives suddenly gave out a beam of light which blinded the both of us. My chest started hurting and I started to cough —I could hear Alexia coughing too— I opened my eyes,
"Huh? Where's my ice-cream? I can't see anything—"
"Can you think about anything else except food? I can't see anything either, where are you?"
"Nova.....hey, don't touch me there, I am not ready for this."
"Whoa, that's you? What do you mean you are not ready for— No no no you are getting the wrong idea."
As my eyes were getting used to the darkness, I saw a window in the dark room we were in —or so I thought— and it was a window with a door knob and bars for some reason.... I opened it and it was sunny outside, it was summer. More importantly, it was not the city I was living in.
"Did we just—"
"Yooo! We got 'isekai'ed' bro! I wonder what kind of food I can get here!"
Thanks for ruining my dialogue, Alexia. Again, all she cares about is food while I am here panicking about how to get home.
"Why are we the ones dealing with this?"
