Me and Husky just woke up hearing the racket outside. Alexia was missing? Someone was killed? What a nice way to start off a day. I opened the door in a hurry to get an idea of what's going on. I could see the big men running around in panic. I ran along with them. I squeezed through the crowd and could finally enter the hall. There was a corpse on the floor. The guy was brutally stabbed all over his body, a pool of blood right beneath him. His chest was slit open. I felt like vomiting. There was a thin dagger attached to his chest with a note tied on it. I just realized.....The thin dagger was the exact same one as the one the silver-haired girl used. I had caused a death.
"No way! How was anyone even able zo enzer za CHAMBER?!", roared our boss.
"Boss! Alexia-chan is missing too!"
After a man said that, I heard a toilet flush.
"Taking a dump early in the morning complete, time to ea— what the hell just happened here?"
Everyone stared at her. The girl was in her white tank top and the leggings she was wearing yesterday.
"Oh Alexia-chan was here all along...", one said with a smile.
"Ah I'm glad Alexia-chan is safe." x2
Yuro-san went near the body and took the note attached to it. He then screamed for everyone to go do their daily jobs and ensured that he will take care of the rest. Me, Alexia and Husky stayed because we didn't really have any jobs to do.
"Zhis was..... —mumble mumble—....oh I see.....", Yuro-san was reading the note and he was also frowning while reading it —or it was just his usual expression— and gave me a confused look.
"Ya read it.", he handed the note to Husky.
"This was just a sacrifice for you to know that I exist. Nova, you shall come alone inside the scalar lair after chanting 'Fana hogromola' tomorrow evening. If you don't, you friend here will die. If you act smart and come with a group to fight me off, she shall be killed."
My friend? Did the silver-haired girl mean Alexia? S-She definitely took the wrong person....
"Fana hogromola? That's a forbidden spell—", Husky sounded curious.
"You shall not use magic or any items, I will be waiting..."
This person doesn't know that I don't have magic, clearly. But whoever she took, was in danger.
"Wait hold up...Alexia is here with us....no way, this person took HER."
"Yes my boy....zhis person defini'ely zook her."
I saw the caterer lady present here so it was someone I didn't know about.
"W-Who?", I asked, concerned.
"Shauna...SHAUNA WAS TAKEN!!", screamed Husky in panic.
Shauna...so the silver-haired girl took a lady named Shauna. Well, it's my duty to save her. Afterall, it's my fault that she was abducted.
"Okay then, let's go save her!", I stated.
"Huh? Ohhh that....yeah about that...Shauna can take care of herself. She has enough power to beat a Special-grade mage."
"Eh?"
Oh so now he wants to say that Shauna is overpowered. Enough power to beat a SPECIAL-GRADE MAGE!
"Why'd you sound as if you were in panic then?", asked Alexia with the 'what is going on' face.
"When she gets angry....she kills.."
