Promise & Stolen Kisses

Kai thought he heard wrong.

'What did you say?' He wanted her to repeat what she just said.

'I will make up to you. I promise.' Amaris looked at him with a serious face.

Kai felt as if he hit a jackpot. Just to make sure he verified one last time.

'Anything?' he emphasized the word gravely.

'Yes, anything.' Amaris nodded.

'Promise?'

'Promise.' Amaris said solemnly.

'Okay, let's seal the deal.' Kai said and then stepped closer. Right now he did not feel any pain at all. He was miraculously cured. He wondered how could she be so naïve.

How could she promise him so easily?

Was she not afraid that he will take advantage of her? Then another thought struck his mind. Has she promised anyone other than him like this?

Instantly, a burning sensation surged into him. He did not like it, not even one bit.

'How?' Amaris enquired. Kai looked down at her and his gaze settled on her lips. His mind was already filled with a myriad of thoughts and the feeling from earlier once again surged within him.

'Like this.' He muttered. In the next breath, he put his hand behind her nape and swooped his head down. He lightly brushed his lips to hers as if testing waters.

Amaris was stunned by his bold action.

Kai took advantage of her state of inaction and once again his lips touched hers. But this time it was not a gentle, feather-like feel.

He firmly kissed her.

It was not an open-mouthed kiss. He did not want to scare her away.

Her lips were soft and Kai felt like time has stopped. He broke off and then peppered light kisses a few times and then let go. He looked into her wide eyes and could not resist the temptation.

He stole another kiss.

'I will tell you what to do another day.' He said huskily and left.

A few feet away, some moments ago, the struggle between Suzzie and Drake had ended in peace. Drake has apologized for his mistake and told her clearly that what happened was unintentional.

They had come here to play basketball games and mistakenly found them. When they arrived Amaris was already dancing and they did not want to disturb her so they stayed quiet.

Drake felt a bit guilty after he said a small white lie. But he did it to save themselves.

This put Suzzie's mind to ease and she accepted his apology. In turn, she also admitted her mistake of calling him a pervert. Everything was settled and with his help, she finally got up.

To avoid any kind of awkwardness between them Suzzie then turned to look for Amaris. But what greeted her eyes was a blazing hot scene of Kai kissing her friend!

Drake also looked in that direction and was stupefied to see such a sight. Rudy already has his attention on Kai but he was also surprised to see such a bold action of his friend.

'Damn.' He whispered.

'Holy freaking ice cream on a fudge!' Drake blurted out.

And for the first time, Suzzie had no words to say. She was speechless.

'Let's go.' Kai said as he approached his stupid friends. He did not mind at all that they saw him kissing her.

He was claiming her.
